I spend a few times each week at the café upstairs, mainly to study, read or (most importantly) relax and enjoy the calming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, which I very much appreciate. I usually refuse to buy any books since they are quiet expensive compared to other places, but it is fun to browse through the huge catalogue of books they offer. Overall, it's one of my favourite places in the Glasgow city centre.

Really cosy cafe on the basement floor; perfect for reading or working. Well made coffee and delicious cakes. The staff are always friendly and polite; particularly Lily who always makes a great latte.

Great bookshop, much bigger than you might expect from the outside. They have a large lower floor with a cafe and a lot of book sections and categories. There are also greeting cards and some board games available. The staff is very kind and helpful. Recommended for a visit.

Fantastic bookshop with a huge range of subjects. The cafe is a bit run down this only 4 stars.

Amazing bookstore! I was able to find the book series I wanted easily. The books are arranged alphabetically and by genre, making it easy to find the books you're looking for. I could spend hours inside and not get bored. There's also spaces to read and have coffee.
