Thursday me and my mother went here to look for some things, spending the day together. When we went up to the register to checkout around 4:28 or so, we asked the guy at checkout nicely if we could have our stuff in separate bags and that it would be paid on one transaction before he started, we even separated our stuff on the counter for him to make it easier …. He then says “help on line…. It’s like Christmas again” with only 2 people behind us. I just believe he could’ve been a little more nicer and not add that comment and say it the way he did like it bothered him. Me and my mother don’t live together so we always have our stuff bagged separately and we know a lot of other people do the same thing too.

Unfortunately prices at world market greatly exceed those at other stores for the same items, quality has decreased (outdoor chairs purchased here were found to be extremely cheaply made upon assembly and a recent customer service call was disappointing. Only reason for three, not one star is presence of a few unique items. Very likely that I have shopped at world market for the last time

The light skinned cashier asked me to go stand back in line because I didn't see the sign although she was practically done with her customer in line. Absolutely terrible. It's a high priced place anyway as soda costs almost $4 for a 20 oz. Do better!

True to its name, I found foodstuff and snacks that are rather unique to various cultures right here. From Taiwanese mochi to White Rabbit Candy. Unique selection of wine too.

It is unwise for anyone lacking self control to visit World Market… because you’ll want to buy EVERYTHING in the store. 😹😹😹I had discipline and common sense, so I exited the store within half an hour. next time, I may not be so lucky! 😻😻😻😻😻
