Debbie is a great teacher, she has helped to come out of my comfort zone and try new painting options that I thought I could never do. I'm so happy with my work and will continue to paint at the Painted Canvas Art Studio.
I paint watercolor but Debbie also teaches acrylic and drawing and mixed media. She has helped me with selection of subject matter, perspective , adding contrast in my paintings. She is always willing to answer questions. I appreciate all the help she has given me. I also know she really enjoys teaching children. I have seen some of their amazing work! Debi is not only a professional artist, but she also has a degree in art education. I have enjoyed taking a class from her for several years. She is an excellent teacher with a keen eye. Her positive critiques and suggestions are delivered well and are most helpful.
I hadn’t painted since high school. I am retired now and did not think, whatever talent I had, could be revived. A friend of mine, who attends Debbi’s classes, suggested I join the class. That was 2 years ago and, with the help and guidance from Debbi, I have several paintings of which I am very pleased. I look forward to my weekly classes. Debbi is a true professional and brings out the best in each of us. Classes are excellent as well as relaxed and fun. Painting again has helped me to gain confidence, to distance myself from daily stresses and gives me a sense of accomplishment. It’s truly a blessing for me. Thank you Debbi
I highly recommend A Painted Canvas!!! My friend had a party to celebrate her graduation, it was SO much fun. I've never painted and I'm not artistic at all. My painting turned out beautiful ❤ I'm going to hang it in my home. Debbie the instructor is so talented, patient and kind. We were socially distant and safe as well. Great idea for a get together.
