I found Air Conditioning of Arizona on the Trane website looking for alternative bids to replace an old HVAC system on our house. My experience with Air Conditioning of Arizona was outstanding from my first phone call through the installation of a Trane Platinum XV20 system. Office staff Lisa and Samantha were courteous, professional, and thorough in answering my questions. Field project leader, Bart, made multiple visits to ensure we were getting our desired system with proper components with all available discounts. Field installation experts Corey, Ivan, and Phil did an outstanding job of fitting the new system to existing ductwork, new power supply, refrigerant line set, system controller, and Trane Smart Link thermostat. They did a great job of removing the old system, installing the new system, cleaning the areas where work was performed. Corey also provided excellent training on the user interface of the new system and thermostat. Air Conditioning of Arizona is now our go to HVAC Contractor!
The office staff is friendly and helpful. Phone calls are returned promptly. The service men, Aiden and Josh diagnosed the problem correctly and resolved it within two days as they got the needed part quickly. It was a pressure switch problem that we had for a couple of years that wasn’t resolved but our former service company. It is a relief to have it fixed so the heat comes on as it should.
I had a 5-ton and 4-ton unit replaced by ACA in Oct '25. I received estimates from a total of 8 top-rated Trane dealers and I'm sure any of them would have done a good job. I chose ACA because Troy did not tell me what I wanted to hear, he told me what he would do if it was his house: unlike all the others. I ended up getting both units replaced at the same time because of his advice and I'm glad I did. Another example: I explained that two of the top floor bedrooms were always warm. The other companies recommended another air intake in the common area...near those bedrooms. Troy asked how that would help when the bedroom doors were shut...it wouldn't lol. He, instead proposed putting small air intakes in each bedroom and enlarging the ductwork for cool air entering the room. This solution has fixed the problem completely. The installation team led by Phil was fantastic. The three-man team was super professional. They showed up a little early each morning to be ready and worked their tails off 3 days in a row. They were willing to change the pad installation after it was done, when I asked them to. To top things off, ACA was the lowest-cost quote I received. If you want a team that is knowledgeable, innovative, hard-working, and humble, ACA is a great choice.
We had a wonderful experience with Air Conditioning of Arizona. From out first phone call with Bart where he assisted us with such helpful advise, to his visit to our home providing a very fair quote for a new two zone air conditioning system, to their great installation team and office staff, we were extremely satisfied. They were on time, courteous, hard working, communicated well and made sure we were 100% happy with the result. This was a major purchase and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Air Conditioning of Arizona.
I had this company install an air conditioning unit, it was not strapped down properly and caused heavy water damage to my home including breaking through a ceiling. When I brought this to the company's attention they offered to have it repaired. I found out their repairman actually worked in another industry and did repair work on the side, so I went through my insurance to get it professionally done. Now ACA has claimed to my insurance company it is not their fault to escape liability. Absolutely awful behavior and customers should know that if they damage your home they will try to weasel their way out instead of correctly handling it. Edit in response to the owner: No one else accessed the attic, only your workers. Your worker stated it was not strapped down properly and vibrated out of place causing the damage. You did not try to fix this in good faith and your efforts were not misrepresented here.
