I've been to Band Barracks a few times before in live band rehearsal settings and was always impressed; TOP NOTCH!! Today I had a session (re-booked) in DJ room 110. My original booking last weekend was for Saturday (I thought it was for Sunday) and I missed it! TOTALLY my fault, I had a "senior moment" but guess what? BB totally worked with me and was able to help out, Thanks, Alan! If they wouldn't have and charged me for the missed booking, I would have understood since I MISSED it! Let's talk about equipment and setup. Pioneer DJM 3000's and mixer are in exceptional shape. The EVs on the ceiling sound like you're in a club and completely fill the room with no noticeable bounce back or annoying reverb. Lighting was easy to control and dimmable to your preference with color changing LEDs to get the vibe right. Equipment, lighting, sound quality, easy 10/10. As soon as I got home, I booked another session for next week. Just remember, leave the studio how you found it, clean and everything powered off. I had a wonderful experience at Band Barracks. This was my first time in the studio, and Judson made the process seamless. He calmed my nerves with his patience and made me feel completely comfortable. His knowledge and expertise really stood out, and he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, even without prior experience. I will definitely be scheduling more sessions with him.
Finding Band Barracks was easily the highlight of 2025! This is an absolutely fantastic, dedicated space for any musician to work on their craft. The setup is clearly designed by people who understand the needs of artists—it's a truly professional job well done. If I could, I'd move in!
First timer. Experience was Lo key amazing. My girl Kat was super helpful😮💨 even threw an assist with troubleshooting the DAW I was using. (Turned out to be hardware related.. 😭) I came there to record some vocals and mix some music cause they have access to a full set up for you to utilize and I was honestly surprised. Once everything was set up it was a nice night. Sang my ass off. Will be coming back for sure 🤭
