We originally signed up my son who had been asking about doing martial arts for a few years. However, After signing him up and going to his first class, I had a strong urge to do it myself and sign the rest of the family up. So here we are a year later, and we absolutely love our experience at Blackman’s. It has been a great experience and a lot of fun. I have found a new community, made new friends, and we’re developing a new skill at the same time.
As a parent, I couldn’t be happier with our experience here. My 13-year-old daughter, has gained so much confidence and focus since starting taekwondo. The structure and goal-oriented approach really helps her stay motivated, and the instructors do an amazing job at encouraging and rewarding the kids for their hard work. She was even nominated for Black Belt Club in such a short time, which speaks volumes about the quality of instruction. We are so thankful to be part of this school! Highly recommend to any parent looking to build confidence and discipline in their child.
We planned to sign up just two of our kids, but the whole family is now enrolled. The kids love it and look forward to each session. The instructors are excellent — providing the right balance of praise and guidance. In addition to providing excellent instruction in the martial arts, Blackman’s also provides a safe community space that encourages personal growth and respect for others

My kids love taekwondo at Blackman's. They run around the house pretending to be the very professional high school kids that are their instructors, which is hilarious and adorable. The facility is well kept and clean as well!
