Late last night our dog started limping, and it quickly got worse. Other ER wait times were very long, but we were referred to Cascade and seen right away. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, and the whole team was great during a tough situation.
I've been to cvrc 4 times and they are absolutely amazing. I was in today for my cat Kitty bloody nose and they were absolutely nothing but kind. I called 3 times after in tears as I couldn't get her nose to stop bleeding and each call they were absolutely compassionate and caring for my concern in a very stressful day for me, they told me it's what they are happy to do and help! No judgment on my questions and they really did care to help comfort me. I was given treatment plans and they even contact my primary vet for updates on everything to keep them updated as well as send me copies of everything. They always have a smile on and during a very rough stressful day today, they we're here to comfort me, support me and care about me and kitty. I will continue to go back if anything else happens. They help me relieve my stress and anxiety to help it be a more peaceful stress free night. I can't recommend enough. Here is my favorite picture of her and who they really care about.
I highly recommend Cascade Veterinary Referral Center for pet emergency care. I brought my cat in after he wasn't eating for 2 days, vomiting, and having bloody diarrhea. I was extremely worried and the team here gave me several treatment options for him and were very thorough with trying to discover what was wrong with my cat. They answered all my questions and were very reassuring and professional. I hope I never have to come back but if I do I will definitely come back here.
We found a tiny kitten outside and knew she had fleas and worms. Our vet wasn't able to see her immediately so we brought her to Cascade. I was able to make an appointment online and get her in the next morning. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I thought the price was very fair. I would definitely recommend!
My dog Moose has been to the vet more in the past year than most dogs go in a lifetime, and I’ve been so grateful for everyone at Cascade during all of his medical drama! The entire team is like our second family by now. We first started seeing Dr. Wan last summer when Moose developed immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, because she was able to see him sooner than every other internal medicine vet in town that I called. From weekly lab draws to squeezing me in at the end of the day when Moose developed a UTI (twice!), the whole team was wonderful and helped me fit his frequent visits in around my work schedule. Moose had the misfortune of two more major medical emergencies this year, including pneumonia and an injury resulting in a necrotic wound. For the first two ER visits we had to go to a different emergency vet after hours when Cascade wasn’t available, and we spent HOURS each time waiting. I was so relieved when Cascade was open for our third ER visit, as Moose was able to be seen right away and got to be with the team we knew. The wound happened the week I was moving across town, and Cascade was so accommodating with our multiple visits that week. They even let Moose stay with them while I had movers at the house, which went a long way to make a stressful week a little bit easier. When we had to go in every few days for the next 8 weeks for bandage changes, it was easy to work him in without long waits. I really hope Moose can get a break from the vet, but I would highly recommend the team at Cascade to anyone who needs them!
