This may be my favorite of the FitnessSF locations. The staff are all nice, they keep the gym clean, and it's the right size to be easy to get around while having everything you need. I especially love the group fitness offerings. Faycal's HIIT classes on Mondays and Fridays are the best - high energy from beginning to end, constantly moving but with lots of options to adjust to your level, great sweat with a great group of people! Faycal does a great job of checking in with people and keeping everyone motivated to push through. I also love Danimal's power vinyasa yoga on Tuesdays which is both challenging and restorative.
I had a medical challenge that left me sedentary for months and vetted local gyms with personal training to help me achieve my baseline fitness level and beyond. I'm happy with my decision to go with FitnessSF because of the equipment, cleanliness, accessibility and friendly staff. I was recommended Steven Luibrand for personal training and I'm already seeing results after two months! He's put together a compressive program tailored to my goals and needs. It's clear he's a wealth of knowledge since I've learned SO MUCH. Thank you Steven!
I absolutely love taking HIIT classes with Faycal El aryf! They're incredibly dynamic, energetic, and always bring such a positive vibe to every session. The workouts are challenging in the best way—you definitely feel like you've put in the work—but they’re also super fun. What I really appreciate is that every class is different, so it never feels repetitive or boring. Highly recommend if you're looking for an engaging, effective workout with an instructor who truly keeps you motivated!
I’ve been a member for 5 years, including through the pandemic and I’ve never considered other gyms. The monthly fee is really good value for the facilities, variety of studio classes and excellent personal trainers. Steven Luibrand is top notch: we’ve worked on building strength, maintaining mobility, snowboard-specific training, and throw in random fun stuff like earthquake bar lifts, obstacle course warm-ups. Great gym, great staff, great vibes.
Lovely gym! Love that they have free parking and the staff here is always friendly. The gym is not that big, but it has a nice selection of equipment. I also like the courtyard area. They also have nice bathrooms. The gym is also always clean. Im a fan of Fitness SF! This is not their best location, but definitely up to standard.
