Our church has been using Mr. Jude’s building for the past 11 years, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Mr. Jude is consistently kind, helpful, and welcoming he always greets our church family with open arms every time we’re in the building. The facility itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering an affordable and accommodating environment for all our needs. It has truly been a blessing for our ministry. Our entire church family loves it, and I do too. Highly recommend!
I absolutely love Mr. Jude! He is always kind, professional, and more than willing to help whenever needed while using his building. He welcomed my church with open arms, creating a warm and accommodating atmosphere from day one. Every room is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making it the perfect venue for any type of event. The pricing is also very reasonable. I would highly recommend this space for any and every occasion. Definitely a 5-STAR experience!
I'm BIG on customer service and when I tell you choosing to have my wedding here was the only thing i regret. 1st off I rented out hall B which I was charged $2900. I was told that I will have some where to get dressed with my bridesmaid & the groomsmen would have a place get dressed. That's wasn't true . He only had a place for the myself & my Bridesmaid . The place she had was just a big old room. Where he use for storage . That only have two plug we had Access to bc Of all the stuff in the room . & they where on the same side of the room . It was hot and it smell awful, bc they keep the ac off Prior to us coming and it takes time to cool off the building. Remind you, we're in the middle of July in Texas. He have Multiple events going on at one. The people that were in Hall A kept Coming on my side & in the kitchen getting food doing our event . I mention it to him nothing was done. So I went off myself to his Africans buddies . It was a door that we walked through for the ceremony no One rented it on this day of our wedding he told is it was OK to use for out entrance. After the ceremony we Went back to the area to do our Reception grand Entrance & he had locked us out of that side . So my reception grand entrance was ruined because we could get back in through the door. So we had to use the door that our guest use to enter. It's horrible. I Called & asked why did he lock it he said he have to pay for electricity on that side to use it. But we talked about us walking Thur b4 i payed him off To secure The venue. When I paid Jude ( the owner off to Secure the venue that's when EVERYTHING changed for me . My advice is if you use this Venue make sure you have everything in writing. Bc he don't care about your special day he just care about the money . Which I know it's a business but dang I should of keep looking at Venues for my wedding. Over all I'm married & happy dealing with this is over with .
We had our company Christmas party here and it was really good. It's a very affordable venue, and the owners were absolutely fantastic to work with. I'd love to see them put a little money into improvements to the venue, but honestly, I have nothing else bad to say. They were incredibly accommodating to our schedule and even let us decorate the day before the party, which was amazing! We were very, very happy with them!
This is a Beautiful & Huge Venue for your important Wedding, Anniversary, Quincenera or Birthday Celebration! Owner, Mr.Jude is absolutely the best provider of wonderful Event services in Garland. The Venue has had a recent renovation that is very beautiful to host any size event up to 800 guests. You can Trust Mr. Jude to give you more than what most Venues offer. He is a great hands on owner/operator that is present through out any event he hosts at The Garland Convention & Reception Center. Call or go see Mr. Jude in person to get your Event handled by a Venue that has been providing fantastic service for almost 20 years! David Newman
