Overall it's a great restaurant but I wouldn't particulary come back. They forgot about our drinks (it can happen so no big deal), but they put way too much ice for 200ml of room temperature cola which is £4. Also meat is great but gaucho burger is overall dry and sauces were bland. Pancakes were completely missing Dulce de leche.
Absolutely amazing restaurant to visit in Glasgow! We had Ali serve us and she was great with recommendations and explaining to my friend the different options available on the menu. We went with the Gaucho Sampler which was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!
EDIT: returned to the restaurant after the manager reached out and had a fantastic Sunday roast. Great food and even better service, true to Gaucho reputation. The steak was terrible quality, and a very small portion. I eat regularly at Gaucho, and have had the lunch menu many times in Birmingham and Manchester, and this was a very poor quality steak, and a much smaller portion than I have had at other branches. Disappointing.
It was good don’t get me wrong but was I wowed by food? No. Was the steak good? Yes. Service was excellent really fast friendly. Be prepared to pay 17% service charge which is added to your bill. I mean I was planning to leave the tip but restaurant already made that choice for you.
What a sexy restaurant! Fillet steak cooked to perfection, staff are super friendly and attentive. I would have liked a side of ice cream or cream with my cheesecake but that’s me just being over indulgent! I am pretty sure the staff and chefs would have accommodated but I never asked. Was looking forward to trying Gaucho…was not disappointed!
