Maria was our server. She is the bomb! Very attentive and friendly. The seasoning on all the food was amazing and everything was fresh and hot. Servings were plentiful! Salsa is superb and cheese dip was so creamy!
Great experience. My husband bought all the photos from the photographer. Grabbed a quick dinner and some drinks. Fun atmosphere for a birthday. Had a great time. Will definitely come back. Ohh and the churro doughnut 100/100!!
Delicious food and wonderful service! We sat outside on the porch with our small dog. The chips and salsa were so yummy and we had meals that we had never had before- lobster quesadilla and a piña loco which was a mix of meat in a pineapple! The service was also great! Our server was well informed and super nice! Very attentive! The food and drinks were amazing! 10 out of 10 will be back again!
I was Wowed! By this Mexican restaurant that had a large menu and great atmosphere including a covered porch outdoor dining area. The service was good, the food was exceptional and the cocktails were fantastic! Did I mention they have a ridiculous blown glass purse blueberry and tequila cocktail?! It’s a Great place to celebrate a birthday. I can’t wait to go back!!
We visited Grand Patron Mexican Restaurant in Virginia Beach and had mixed feelings. The food was actually really good — flavorful, fresh, and nicely presented. The ambiance is also lovely, with a vibrant and welcoming vibe that makes you want to relax and enjoy your meal. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Our order was brought out wrong more than once, and it took a while to get things corrected. When the manager finally came over, we expected some effort to make things right, but instead, we got a shrug and no real resolution. It was disappointing, especially since the food itself was worth coming for. If they can get their service up to the level of their food and atmosphere, this place could be great. Until then, just know you might have a frustrating experience even if the meal tastes good.
