We love Guitar Shed! I have an 8 and 10-year-old and all three of us go there. They worked hard to align the schedules so all three of us could take lessons at the same time, which this busy mom especially appreciates! We've taken lessons with Gordon, Andrew, Zach, and Nichelle and had great experiences with all of them. So grateful this spot is in our neighborhood!
Big range of teachers and specialties to find a good fit for developing musicians. After a bad experience with a private piano instructor (not at Guitar Shed), my daughter wanted to try piano again with Mateo because her brother enjoyed working with him on French horn. She ultimately decided to switch instruments but so thankful she had her spark reignited for instrumental music!
Zach has been a fantastic teacher. As an adult with zero experience with any instrument. He got me functional on bass with a mix of songs and music theory. He also is great with teen band that my son plays in. We are big family fans of Guitar Shed. Cheers.
Guitar Shed was a great experience for vocal coaching with Nichelle. As an adult learning vocals for the first time, I found the lessons very helpful, encouraging, and easy to follow. Nichelle was personable, thoughtful, and made each session fun while still being productive. I felt supported throughout the learning process and gained confidence along the way. I would definitely recommend Guitar Shed to other adult beginners interested in vocal coaching and any other music adventures.
My daughter has had a great experience taking piano lessons from Chris. He has such a calm and cool approach, and is always positive, sharing the highlights with me at the end of her lesson. Guitar Shed staff are always friendly, supportive and kind, over the phone or in person. Alas, my daughter has decided that she likes the idea of playing an instrument more than the practice involved with it. I’m crossing my fingers that she finds her motivation again soon, and when that happens, we’ll be back for sure. Thank you, Chris and all the staff at Guitar Shed!
