I arrived in gyg and immediately could tell the food was going to be amazing amazing,when I was served, a chill bloke named Owen took my order and gave me my receipt. About 2 minutes later my food arrives and I eat it,it was so friggin tuff I shed tear, I heard that the super tacos were pretty good too, but my Bowl did just fine 👌. If Owen takes your order, your in for a treat. Best Mexican in cbr 📈🙋♂️Guzzie g on top
Go to place for lunch if Im feeling it. Food tastes better than other gygs (good food). Pork was very good, very tasty. Would recommend this place.
The new salad bowl is absolute garbage! Since when is lettuce by itself labelled a SALAD?? Put some chicken, lettuce and chips and call it a Salad bowl. When confronted they said I made modifications. I only said no sauce or cheese, but I was expecting some vegetables is the salad not just lettuce. This is a huge downgrade from the salad bowl they used to have. So disappointing! Not to mention the place is filthy! I put my hand on a table and got food smeared on my fingers had to wash immediately. The service; can we please put people who can actually speak at the counter? I used to love GYG. You guys are really going downhill.
Nice modern store with a cool vibe to it. There was plenty of available tables. For a Saturday night it was busy but not messy/untidy as you'd expect. Our order came fairly quickly and it was delicious as expected.
I was today years old when I found out that GYG is actually an Australian based brand! I got a vegetarian bowl and it was good as always with fresh ingredients. The rice bowl I ordered the next time was slightly disappointing since I’d ordered a sautéed veggies rice bowl but got a mushroom rice bowl instead, probably an error made by the staff considering there were so many customers at that time! They politely remade my order the way I’d ordered it and it was just nice. I find GYG slightly expensive and not filling enough for its price points. The ambience though is absolutely STUNNING especially during the day ☀️ (Apparently if you install the app you can get cheaper tacos or something of that sort; so will probably try that the next time I come here haha)
