We recently had a new electrical panel installed, which required some repair work on the exterior siding around the meter box. Handyman Connection responded quickly and was able to take care of the job right away, even based on a photo of what needed to be done. Allan came out and did a great job patching and sealing the area, making it look so much better and ensuring everything was properly sealed before the cold weather set in. We’ve used Handyman Connection a few times now, and they’ve always been reliable and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
This review presents a mixed evaluation of the services rendered. The electrical work was executed satisfactorily and without issues. However, the plumbing services were fraught with difficulties, including leaks and damage; notably, the installer was not a plumber. These problems necessitated the engagement of a different company to rectify the issues. The leaks resulted in damage to the property, and there has been an absolute lack of response from the handyman concerning these matters. Once payment was made, their level of service and concern diminished significantly. Additionally, I received an inquiry regarding a bill that had already been settled. Given their rates of $105.00 per hour, along with direct charges for WCB, it is advisable to engage a contractor that employs certified tradespeople who are accountable for any issues stemming from their work. I shall refrain from utilizing this company’s services in the future, viewing this experience as a valuable lesson learned. Notably, they are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and their corporate office is located in the United States. I should have verified their credentials before employing their services.
I am very impressed with the professionalism and service from this company. Darren, the plumber was a quality job person, all the way. First, estimates are free. He looked at the job, and offered options first. When the job was agreed upon , he arrived on the date, with the materials, and went over the job agreement again. He didn't mind me watching and asking questions. He told me if I experienced any problems, to let the company know, and it would be fixed. I would definitely recommend, and would use again!
