I truly cannot say enough good things about Julio. This was our second time getting matching tattoos with him, and once again, he exceeded every expectation. My sister and I got matching tattoos together to honor our late father, and Julio treated the entire experience with so much care, kindness, and respect. I brought in our father’s cowboy boots, and Julio took the time to photograph them and thoughtfully turn the outline into part of the design. He also incorporated my birth flower, my sister’s, and my father’s. His artistic skill and attention to detail are incredible—you can see how intentional and meaningful every line is. The final tattoos are absolutely beautiful and deeply personal. The room was calm, comfortable, and welcoming, and Julio made sure we both felt at ease throughout the entire process. This tattoo means the world to us, and we are so grateful to have an artist we trust with something so special. Julio is not only extremely talented, but also genuinely kind, and we couldn’t recommend him more.
My family and I had such an amazing experience with Julio. This was my first tattoo and it was nothing short of amazing. He was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. I have 4 tattoos from him now and his fine line work is AMAZING!!! I will fly out to San Diego just for Julio’s work! 10/10 recommend.
Julio was amazing from start to finish. He really took the time to listen to my ideas and made sure every detail was exactly right before we started. You can tell he truly cares about his work and his clients. The shop itself was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere, which made the whole experience even better. I came in with a vision, and Julio executed it perfectly. The final result exceeded my expectations. He’s a true artist and someone I’d absolutely trust again. If I ever get another tattoo, there’s no question about where I’m coming back.
My family and I were in town for a concert and wanted to get matching tattoos. I have a ton of tattoos, but it was my mom and sister's first time getting a tattoo. Julio had a ton of good reviews and his work looked impressive. Julio was kind enough to accommodate our last minute booking. The shop was very clean and the ambiance was very comforting. Julio took his time on our tattoos and did a fantastic job. He was very friendly and reasonably priced as well. Thank you Julio!
Julio is the best tattoo artist i found in sd so far!!! very nice and took his time to settle down sketch details and body position. The tattoo itself is very crisp and exactly what i want it to be. also got to his new studio in the new location very good aesthetics
