I joined IFS MMA 3 month beginner programme around September last year at 36 years old with very minimal MMA experience (I done about 6 months of MMA at 18/19) so going down a little older was a bit daunting but as soon as I was there everyone was very welcoming, chatting away and making you feel welcome, no egos. The coaches were very approachable and invested in teaching you and I learnt a lot in a short period of time. If you’re thinking about it I’d suggest just to give it a go, you’ll build fitness, self confidence, a sense of community and meet new people along the way.
Just finished the 3-month beginners programme at IFS and honestly couldn’t recommend it more. From day one, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming – no egos, just good people and great coaching. Whether you’re looking to improve your MMA skills, get fitter, or just push yourself, this is the place to be. The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and really know how to get the best out of you. Top-notch training, great vibes, and solid results. If you’re even slightly considering it – just go for it. You won’t regret it
IFS MMA is hands down one of the best places you can train—whether you’re brand new or experienced in MMA. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and the coaches are top-notch. It’s not just about fighting; they focus on fitness, conditioning, and real results makes this a great environment for anyone wanting to improve themselves physically and mentally. You walk in and immediately feel part of the team. Highly recommended for anyone thinking about starting or levelling up their training!
Joined IFS back in December 2024, when I first joined I was sitting around 95KG. 6 months later I’m down to 83kg and also had my first Gladiator fight on Clan Wars, one of the best MMA gyms I’ve been too. The atmosphere is incredible and the coaches push you to be your best, if you’re looking to compete or even just lose weight and learn the art this is the place to start!:)
Amazing Atmosphere, just on the end of a 12 week beginner programme IFS offer and my fitness and confidence has went up tremendously. All students and coaches are friendly, open minded and supportive to anyone who joins no matter the circumstances. Extremely hygienic as mats are always washed and brushed regularly. Couldn’t recommend a better starting point for someone who wants to exceed in fitness or learn Martial Arts. Excited to continue learning at this gym it is only the beginning :)
