Manuel and Juan did a fantastic job moving our one bedroom apartment. They were organized, polite, listened to our requests, and were fun to work with. They worked hard the whole time even though we probably should have asked for a three person crew. They made our move, always a stressful thing, easier and we felt well taken care of.

Jay's Small Moves could not have been better for our move from Piedmont to Fremont! The team of five were professional, efficient and so nice. They disassembled furniture and reassembled at the new place. They helped with furniture placement suggestions, and moved heavy items with no problems. Would definitely recommend them.

Jay’s moving team was highly professional, conscientious, respectful, and efficient, and they clearly cared for my property, handling everything with attention and care. Throughout the move, they made sure I understood what to expect and took the time to answer all of my questions, which made the entire process far less stressful. The movers did not leave any materials at the job site and ensured the area was clean and orderly before they left, and no items were hauled away by the team. I recently used Jays small Moving Services for a local move from a 1-bedroom apartment in the Oakland district to a new condo in Oakland on November 10, 2025. I couldn't be happier with the experience. Here's what made it a great experience: Punctuality: The movers (Jaime and Miguel and Jesus ) arrived exactly on time at the agreed-upon AM window. Professionalism: They were incredibly polite, introduced themselves, and did a quick walkthrough before getting started. They were well-equipped and got straight to work. Care and Efficiency: They handled all my items, especially my heavy solid-wood furniture and several boxes labeled "fragile," with meticulous care. They used floor runners to protect the floors in both apartments and expertly maneuvered a large couch through a tight stairwell without any damage to the walls or the furniture. Communication: Jaime and Miguel kept me updated throughout the process, confirming where each box and piece of furniture needed to go in the new place. Jay’s movers are top notch! I had them pack all of my boxes as well as move them, and they did an excellent job. The workers were so polite and incredibly efficient, as well as being very careful with all of my items. They really went above and beyond and I have already recommended them to my friends and family members who are moving soon. It was easily the least stressful move I have ever experienced and I couldn’t be happier with this company.
