Don't waste your money on a membership. I'm canceling mine as soon as the contract expires and will never give Massage Envy another dime!!!
Terrible business. When you cancel they will just continue to bill you over and over. I’ve called multiple times and I keep getting “that’s weird, we will look into it” with no update or call back and still no cancellation. I will be disputing with my bank today after 5 months of wrongful charges. Will not be coming back.
I was very impressed by the massage therapist Gloria! She definitely has a lot of knowledge on releasing muscles and getting out knots, and incorporated a bit of stretching as well to aid this. I imagine that she could accommodate all levels of pressure. Highly recommend!
I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at Massage Envy. I booked my appointment over the phone for a specific service, but when I arrived, they had me down for a completely different appointment type. I didn’t realize the mistake until the end of the session when I noticed I never received the treatment I originally booked. When I brought it up, there wasn’t much concern from the staff. All they offered was a complimentary add on for a future visit, which doesn’t fix the fact that I didn’t get what I excepted and booked. I left feeling frustrated and let down. I expected better communication and accountability. I did not receive the service I booked, and that’s unacceptable. May be from their view it’s all the same service with additional add ons but for me I would not even need this service if I knew it was different than what I asked for
I’ve been a Massage Envy member since 2007, and honestly, I’m shocked at how badly this location handles its clients. I gave them a second chance, and they somehow managed to do even worse. I called to update my credit card and booked a facial and massage at the same time. I wanted a 2-hour massage, but because of short notice, I settled for a 90-minute and booked the 2-hour for the following week. Then the clinic called me and said they found a 2-hour massage + facial combo on the 21st and canceled my original appointment — supposedly to meet my exact request. Great, right? Apparently not. I came in a few days later for a facial with Makenna (fantastic) and a massage with Kate (also great). But when checking out, the front desk informed me that my upcoming “2-hour massage” was magically downgraded to a 90-minute massage plus a 30-minute Rapid Tension service — something I didn’t ask for, don’t want, and frankly could do myself at home. They promised to look into it and call me back. Five days. No call. So I called today… and was greeted by one of the rudest front desk associates I’ve ever dealt with anywhere, let alone at a business that depends on memberships and customer loyalty. Instead of fixing their scheduling mistake, she told me to “just accept” the 90-minute service or book a different day — as if my time and schedule meant nothing. When I pointed out that the clinic itself made the change, she doubled down, got snippy, talked over me, and then hung up on me. When I called back, she admitted she was the same person, said she “didn’t have to talk to me,” didn’t like my response… and hung up on me again. Still no manager. No accountability. No solution. Just a front desk apparently trained in rudeness and shrugging at paying clients. It’s telling that I’ve witnessed other customers treated far better while I sat in the lobby — so perhaps respect here is selective. After 18 years as a member, this is the treatment I get? A scheduling mess, zero communication, and a front desk employee who behaves like basic customer service is beneath her? This Massage Envy location/franchise should be embarrassed. This location needs serious leadership, training, and maybe a reminder that clients have a choice and CAN AND will — take their business elsewhere. To be continued...
