On the positive, very professional and very friendly people who are punctual and quite detailed. On the flip side, their pricing model of all in pricing without specifying what is allocated to labor or materials is not within the times in my perspective. I had 4 smaller jobs ending up to be over 7K. This just makes no sense to me in today's competitive landscape. Again helpful, friendly and professional and completely unreasonable pricing! hope that is helpful
Update: Mr. Handyman reached out and acknowledged that there had been a miscommunication regarding the original work. They apologized, and a couple of weeks later, they returned and fixed the faucets. They did not charge me for the labor, which I believe was fair since the initial work was not done correctly and lasted less than two weeks. While I appreciate Gautham’s effort and willingness to take responsibility and try to make things right, I’m still not completely satisfied with the overall final result for the amount of money paid. I was expecting better work, especially the shower caulking, but the faucets turned out very nice. —————————————————- I hired Mr. Handyman to fix my faucet and apply caulking in some areas of my bathroom. The first handyman recommended metal plates for a long-lasting faucet repair, but the $3,141 quote only included silicone. I agreed, trusting their judgment. Eric insisted silicone was the only solution for my type of faucet, saying he has 10 years of experience. Two weeks later, the faucet broke. When another handyman arrived to check, he confirmed that the metal plates were the proper, long-term fix. When I told Eric I had no choice but to pay them to repair the faucet properly, he said I could hire someone else. Now I’m being charged an extra $417 for a problem they caused and never acknowledged.
This company deserves 10 stars, not just five. From the comprehensive user friendly website and administrative customer support to the professionalism and knowledgeable, capable, meticulous craftsmanship provided by those in the field, I was amazed, delighted, and gratified by the abilities of and the end results delivered by the Mr. Handyman reps John, Will, and Jason. This company is responsive, organized, DEPENDABLE! My only regret is the time and $$ I've wasted on other "handymen" who never showed or did shoddy work when they did show up hours/days late. Don't waste time, money, brain cells. Go with this company and you, too, will be beyond satisfied with a job(s) well done.
Today, my husband and I are very happy and satisfied with an amazing and great job of JASON the technician who did a lot of works in our property. We are very pleased with the job he did, replacing faucets, grab holder etc.. Jason is well detailed with his work, he explained everything what needs to be done! Quite meticulous and we like it. We find him diligent, polite and friendly. He cleaned everything after the work done! Excellent! Thank you Jason!
We asked HANDYMAN to extend our previously installed subway tile into a shower configuration around our bathtub. It is impossible to see where the original installation ends and the new one begins. The process was a messy and dusty…and they somehow kept the whole thing inside the bathroom….the house was kept clean with the team laying down tarps from our front door to their work area…. We love the result including painting and repairs to our ceiling.
