We visited to celebrate our honeymoon. As one of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants in 2025, I had high expectations, but it turned out not to be my personal taste. I ordered the roasted squash risotto. The presentation was beautiful, but I didn’t enjoy the hard almonds on top of a creamy risotto. The bigger issue was the maple mustard vinaigrette — it was overly salty and almost overpowering, similar to soy sauce. The Nola burger was decent, with fresh salad and a flavourful patty, but the top bun was squashed and poorly presented. I don’t expect a response to this review (as with other negative reviews), but I hope it’s helpful.

We made a reservation for the chef's table and chose the tasting menu, 9 dishes plus dessert. We did not get the interactive chef experience that we heard about from others but it was still a fantastic experience. The food is beautiful and delicious. We gave the kitchen full rein over our dishes so each one was a surprise. The drinks were amazing. The service was exceptional. We will absolutely be back! My recommendation is to make a reservation! We went on Tuesday and it was packed!

We tried 4 different dishes and 3 desserts. The food was quite good. Some flavours were better than others, but overall I thinknit's a decently good place. While the main courses are big, some of the entrees and desserts are on the small size. The prices are OK. Some a bit too much for what they are, like the Japanese-style scunitzel that is expensive for such food. Some sandwiches like the pulled pork one were excellent. The place was packed during the Holiday Season, so.probably not the best time to go there, as food took quite a bit to be ready.

Went to Nola today and had a great experience. We started with the corn fritters, which were delicious, and the green onion sourdough with caramelised onion butter that was soft and full of flavour. We ended with the Japanese karaage chicken, which was crispy and really good. Shout out to our server Jasmine for her amazing service and for checking on us at the right times. Overall, a great experience and we would love to come back.

Incredible service tonight. I just want to start by saying our server was easily the best I’ve ever had and they were new! I wish I could remember their name (sorry) because they deserve that level of a shoutout. They were incredibly attentive to our dietary restrictions and would mention even the littlest things to make sure they were being met. Absolutely above and beyond. If you have an employee of the month make it this person. As for the food, delicious! They have a family style dinner which was great. We got to try a bunch of different things. Everything was so good and plated incredibly well. My favourite items were the Gun Powder Roast Carrots, the Tuna Crudo, and the Greenland Garden Tomato + Burrata salad, but again everything was good. Drinks were excellent too! We will be back!
