Ocelotl Martial Arts Academy in El Paso bietet Jiu-Jitsu, MMA und Judo für alle Leistungsstufen an und verfügt über eine geräumige, saubere Anlage mit mehreren Matten, Duschen und Boxsäcken. It was an absolute honor and pleasure training with Professor Fred, Coach Luc, and team from Ocelotl Martial Arts Academy. Ocelotl has truly become a second family to our daughter, and the coaches have been like second parents to her. Our daughter joined the academy a year ago, and I still remember when she first walked through the door. At that time, she was a very sensitive girl—quiet, reserved, and soft-spoken, often staying on the sidelines. Now, we can proudly say that our daughter is a warrior, a fighter, strong, and full of confidence. A huge part of her transformation credit goes to Coach Ivan, who recognized her potential from day one and focused on building her strengths rather than dwelling on her weaknesses. His consistent support and encouragement pushed her every single day, and we’re incredibly grateful for his dedication. As parents, we spent many hours at the academy—not only to watch our daughter grow, but also to witness the coaches working with all the kids. It was always a joy to see how each coach interacted with every child, giving equal attention and care to all. Their collective effort and commitment are truly commendable. Unfortunately, due to an upcoming move to another city, we won’t be able to continue our daughter’s journey at this academy. But we will always cherish the memories and lessons she’s gained here. We will deeply miss this place, and no matter where we go, we will always be thankful to Ocelotl Academy. We entrusted them with our delicate daughter, and they’ve returned to us a strong, brave, and empowered girl.
Amazing place to train at. Super clean and beautiful facility probably the best looking one in all El Paso, training is equally matched to the level you seek from beginners to advanced the people are amazing and you will for sure feel at home.
My daughter is doing MMA Jiu Jitsu and Judo here at Ocelotl. Being here she has learned so much and it took her couple of months to be were she is at right now but thanks to the coaches (Ivan, Oscar, Luke, Ricardo, Travis, Nate, Damian) for helping her get there and shout out to the owner Lily she’s amazing. She’s gain so much confidence, I know some parents get impatient when they don’t see progress but trust the process and you will see progress. Everyone is like a family there and helping each other out.
The facility is incredible! They have lots of mat space, multiple showers in both restrooms and several heavy bags. The lead instructor Ivan Rios is very knowledgeable and the owner Liliana Sanchez is very courteous and professional. I'd recommended this dojo to anyone interested in learning Jiu-jitsu and improving their fitness.
