Someone baked into my car a few months ago. Fortunately they left a note on my windshield with their info. I submitted the claim with ICBC and started looking for a body repair shop. I have a Golf R and I honestly really like my car, I take care of it and it pains me whenever I find a little new scratch; so I was super upset when I realized what had happened (I think anyone who’s a Golf R fanboy will understand how much we care for our cars!). I googled “body repair shops” and called a few, but either I didn’t get a response or I had to wait a long time before they were able to take my car. I was driving on Marine drive one day when I saw Penney auto repair body shop, I decided to drop by and have a look to see if they would be up for helping me with my claim, and if I was comfortable with leaving my car in their hands. From the start, they were really friendly, when they looked at the damage they were honest and explained what they needed to do. A couple of weeks later I dropped my car. It took them 3 days to make the repair and I was surprised with the quality of their work. They even washed my car and I’m pretty sure they also cleaned the inside, for which I was very happy with. I did notice there was a minor issue with one of the corners of my new bumper, I told them about it, they were really nice and asked me to come back at my convenience for a quick readjustment. At no point they sounded like they didn’t want to help me with that; in fact it gave me the impression that they honestly felt bad about that and they reassured me that they will be more than happy to make it right. I think it’s hard to find places with good customer service, and I would definitely recommend Penney Auto-body shop. As someone who takes care of my car, I would go to them again if I ever need to make a new repair. Totally recommended!!!

I recently had my Model Y windshield replaced here through ICBC, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were professional, helpful, and clearly experienced with Tesla vehicles. The replacement was done quickly with OEM glass and the fit and finish look perfect, no issues with sensors or cameras after the install. They also handled all the ICBC paperwork smoothly, which made the whole process completely hassle-free.
