I had an outstanding experience here. My old phone was broke annd I was worried about losing all my data. Aisha was incredibly helpful,knowledgeable and professional. She explained the process clearly and were able to transfer everything from my broken device to my new phone quickly and securely. The service was fast smooth. I wouldn’t say I don’t recommend this place but I feel kinda taken aback. When I first called I was quoted about 200-250 for OEM replacement on the back glass. When I said I wasn’t interested and informed him of the price I was interested in he said they can match that. I asked if they closed at 11:30 PM he said that’s correct. I got there at 7:05 PM and I asked them about the OEM replacement and they complete disregarded that portion and just quoted me $150. They also informed me there that they close @ 8:00 PM and that they’d need at least an hour-hour and a half. She asked if I could come back the next day and what would be the time. I informed her I would shoot for 6-6:30 as I leave work at 6:30. My job allowed me to leave early and I arrived there at 6:30. She was able to get it rushed too the back she informed me come back at 7:45. I came back around 7:50-55 as I assumed they may had needed more time. I went in and I reviewed the phone. The back glass wasn’t flush too the device and I was also informed the device will no longer be water resistant IPX67 which is super frustrating as I upgraded my phone to avoid these issues that I’ve had previously with water and my phone. The job was very sloppy and rushed as I feel since I approached at closing time my job wasn’t taken with high quality and care which is frustrating as I worked at many jobs but my quality doesn’t decrease because we’re about to close. I am paying $150 for this and the expectation should be a quality job. Scratched my frame up badly which sucks because I was trying to keep this phone as like new as possible for future upgrades… I never took my case off ever. I’m a younger type of guy and I don’t take too well with this type of quality of work as I totally feel this replacement could’ve been done DIY but the cost of the tools wouldn’t make sense. Nonetheless as a business owner and a person who does tons of research into these types of things I wouldn’t let this fly. I wouldn’t give the customer a device with glue residue still on it. There shouldn’t be scratches on the frame as you can use a plastic pick to pry the glass out. Update: after looking at the photos in the reviews which I should’ve done before trusting the number of good reviews other customers have the same issues on their phones, glue residue, and scratched frames… I may just be a stickler for this but if I’m paying $150 which is nearly my daily wage then I expect quality and care for the device… call me crazy but this is how I feel. Outcome: rear glass fixed, frame all scratched up (see photos attached), and glue residue still on the frame (I was told I could just take some alcohol to remove it… oh— thanks.) Update 2 days after getting phone fixed. While putting phone case on and ensuring all corners are flush the back glass broke. I will update afterwards but I’m totally unhappy. They’re unwilling to work with me. They want me to spend an additional $90 to fix some of the damages that they have broke. I mentioned the scratch frame and the manager recommended that I spend $90 additional to pay for a new frame and a new back glass for him to replace it. I wouldn’t trust it if this was the last place on earth to have a store who fixes iPhones. I’ve given them more than enough ample time to figure out what they’re going to do with helping me resolve this issue. I will be taking this matter to small claims court. In additionally, sending a demand to the owner in reference to this matter. This is totally unacceptable coming from a consumer and a business owner side. I would never promise a customer excellent work while knowing that I’m putting out this type of work.
