I had a very disappointing experience with the showers. The water was consistently cold, which unfortunately led to me becoming unwell. When I raised this with the manager James and I still have the email, I was told that because no one else had complained, it "wasn't an issue." It is frustrating to have a genuine health and comfort concern dismissed simply because it hasn't been reported by others yet. I hope management takes maintenance more seriously in the future. Reply to owner The fact that you didn't even ask when this happened or which shower I was using proves that this is a scripted response. If you were actually 'reviewing maintenance processes' like you claimed, those would be your first questions. This confirms that my health concern is still being dismissed first by your manager , and now by a AI template online. Are you actually going to fix something, or should I just assume the safety of your members isn't a priority? Unless you're offering a refund or proof of repair, this reply is just reputation management on Google for others to see and doesn't change the fact that your facility is failing its members and they are paying for cold showers.
I mean, the gym and the inside hygiene are good, but they won’t turn on the heater. It’s been a while since I’ve experienced so much cold inside the gym. They turned on the cool fan but not the heater. The manager should notice this, please!
I absolutely love this gym! From the moment you step foot in, the atmosphere is so motivating. The equipment is top-notch and always well-maintained. I've especially enjoyed the GLC classes; the instructor is fantastic and really knows his stuff. I also enjoy doing LIFT class on Tuesday, with the amazing Seren jones! Hands down the best PT in there !! The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Since joining, I've seen a real improvement in my fitness levels and my mental health. The only minor thing is that it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but it's a testament to how great this place is. Highly recommend!"
Great huge gym with multiple pieces of equipment like 3 leg presses, 2 leg raises and so on its really big. Slightly dirty equipment dirtier than most gyms I have been to. The most frustrating thing is that the weights are NEVER and I mean NEVER in order on the rack. I don't know if it ever gets out back or it just stays that way but it's not good or easy to find your weights at all
I'm on a road trip through the UK, so I visit a different outlet every time I hit the gym. Cardiff Western Avenue has been my favourite so far – spacious, a wide variety of equipment, and clean! Couldn't ask for more!
