Dan is an amazing tutor who had given me a great understanding of how to practice effectively on the piano as well as to perform well on exams. I believe his studio is designed very well for the student to focus and to learn from the teacher and that a lot of resources intentionally target our weaknesses in playing or the way we practice. However there are times where I would go through a lesson just playing my program where no advice is given, just a nice work gesture sort of thing. This is something to beware of if you play too well so make sure you practice reasonably and have something to learn from the teacher. Other than that, Dan is awesome, he is a large reason I have improved so quickly in the past 2 years as well as ace some ameb exam.
Dan has been a wonderful teacher. He’s encouraged me to believe that with effort, consistency, and a bit of time, you can build something substantial. His lessons have a clear direction, with each exercise contributing to a broader goal. He gives you room to solve problems independently, to great effect. I’ve now convinced myself that playing an instrument is something I can do — largely thanks to Dan and his lessons.
Dan is a natural teacher - great and fun to learn from. My son really enjoys learning piano and lessons with Dan, we always learn something valuable 💕 truely thankful to have Dan as my son’s mentor and piano teacher ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
Dan is an excellent piano teacher, patient, thoughtful, and focused on truly building your skills. His approach gives you the tools to become genuinely competent, and before you know it, you’re confidently tackling pieces you never thought possible. Highly recommend!
I really enjoy my piano lessons with Dan! He really takes great care in teaching with attentiveness to rhythm, clarity of the notes being played and provides lots of tips on how to improve at the piano. He provides an excellent series of piano exercises to improve finger strength and coordination as well as exercises to improve sight reading in addition to piano pieces plus theory book exercises for a very well-rounded teaching approach. He’s very friendly and helpful and inspires me to continue to practice daily.
