We cannot recommend Rocky Top enough! The whole experience, from first contact, to the tasting, to the day of our wedding, was extremely professional and organized. They had a diverse, expansive selection of food, and what we tried all tasted fantastic. They were very accomodating with any small changes we needed and did a great job accomodating for allergy restrictions (they made a dinner plate with completely unique proteins just for one person!). The food the day-of the wedding tasted just as good, if not better, than it did at the tasting. They made sure that my husband and I were served hors d'oeuvres from cocktail hour while taking photos so we wouldn't miss any of the food. Our guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had. We would choose them again in a heartbeat!
We cannot recommend Rocky Top Catering enough. They were, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The food was absolutely out of this world! They offer so many delicious options, but the crab cake hors d'oeuvres and the short ribs for dinner were true show-stoppers that guests are still talking about. What truly set them apart was their professionalism and care regarding dietary needs. They impeccably handled my husband's celiac disease and all guest allergies, ensuring everything was executed safely and discreetly. This attention to detail gave us such peace of mind. The staff was phenomenal. They took our feedback from the tasting to heart and delivered flawlessly on the wedding day. We were particularly impressed with their attentiveness to us as the married couple—we never went hungry or thirsty for a second! The bar staff deserves equal praise; they created delicious, fun custom drinks and perfectly executed our personalized bar sign vision. They even went above and beyond by ensuring we had plenty of leftovers to take home, which was a lifesaver for our dead-tired selves the day after the wedding.
We chose Rocky Top Catering for our wedding and they were great! Not only was the food outstanding (we got so many compliments!), but the service was also great. The event manager, servers, and bar staff were friendly and efficient. From the passed hors d'oeuvres, to the drinks, to the meals, everything was excellent. Overall, their pricing is very competitive compared to other quotes we'd received during the wedding planning process. We highly recommend this company!
We hired Rocky Top to cater our wedding. We originally spoke with multiple caterers in the area but only Rocky Top was really able to handle exactly what we wanted. We were hoping for a very typical New York / New Jersey style wedding, with a large cocktail hour including multiple food stations and different passed options followed by a plated 3 course dinner. Kevin from Rocky Top was incredibly accommodating and understood exactly what we wanted. Our tasting was FANTASTIC and we were sold. The food at the wedding tasted the exact same as that at the tasting. Every single person at the wedding complimented the food and was so impressed at how well it was presented. All servers were very professional and did an amazing job. We cannot recommend Rocky Top enough!!
We used Rocky Top for both our rehearsal dinner and for our wedding reception. They are top-notch. Kevin was our contact at Rocky Top and he was professional and responsive during the entire process. These pictures are from the tasting and the food was incredible. They’ve got a ton of different options and also do late-night snacks for the reception. For the rehearsal dinner, we went with a chef-attended carving station and veggies served buffet style. Everything was hot and tasty and the staff were great. For the wedding sit-down dinner, we had braised beef short ribs, salmon, and vegetarian options. Each came with their own side. I’m impressed with how well they cook for the masses because it was just as good as the tasting! The pimento beef sliders for the late-night snack and the flaming donut station were especially popular. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved our wedding food! Having great food at a wedding is crucial and Rocky Top delivered. 10/10 recommend!
