I take both of my dogs here, and the quality of care is exactly what I'm looking for! Dr. Leyba and Dr. Hua clearly love animals. They really listen and spend time with you—I never feel rushed.
Took my dog Nori for her first appointment here. Nori has visited a number of other vets around the city of the years and has always been very nervous at the vet so I was a little nervous taking her to a new spot. The staff at SF Pet were so gentle and patient with her and really did the best job I've ever seen making her feel comfortable! Dr. Bennett was so warm, patient, and helpful. She took her time with Nori, was super thorough, and gave me really detailed information. Dr. Alanzo did Nori's blood draw for labs and Nori came back so happy and comfortable! The staff at the front desk were super nice and efficient. Check-in/ checkout process was super fast and easy. I really appreciated how wonderful the team at SF was. Very glad I made the move and very pleased with the care that Nori is going to receive here going forward!
We've been going to here for 17 years. They have helped all our pets live long happy lives. Our Australian shepherd passed last year but lived well past her 16th birthday. Our other Aussie is 15+ and the cat is still going strong at 17+. Get on the waiting list and keep your pets with you for as long as you can.
We took our 7 year old German Shepherd Dog in for a paw injury. First visit he was a being unusually uncooperative, standoffish, and in a lot of pain. We decided to bring him back in today for X-rays under anesthesia. Our Amin is sensitive to sedatives and I expressed my concerns. They were very kind and listened to my concerns. We just picked our boy up and he is doing really well compared to previous times we have brought him home after anesthesia. Our experience has been positive with everyone involved. They treated us and our grumpy boy with respect, kindness and care. I get very nervous when he goes in for anesthesia based on past experience where he had adverse reaction. I am thankful he is home and doing well. Dr Alonzo and all the staff were patient with us and handled everything with care and professionalism. Thank you.
My cat Pickles is now healthy and happy due to the care that she receives here. She had severe stomach issues for years and none of her previous vets offered an explanation but were happy to run expensive tests and treat her symptoms with expensive medications. Within five minutes of our first appt at SF Pet Hospital the doctor asked if she ever was diagnosed with IBS and of course I said no. The vet gave us some meds and Pickles has been healthy and stable ever since. She’s even gained all her weight back! I’m very happy with the care my cat has received here and would highly recommend them to any pet owner.
