Didn’t feel like a welcoming environment for my wife and I. Our hair stylist didn’t greet us or introduce themselves, and that set the tone for the rest of the experience. Would like to chalk it up to a weird day, but I felt like I was in a straight environment with how uncomfortable it was.
Ash was awesome. Will be back again! I'm a low maintenance kind of person and the environment was like having someone do your hair in their own house. Perfect and great price.
I went in for a haircut a month ago, and I've been trying to decide if I should review since then. I had an appointment with Paul. After showing up late, he complained about how long my hair was (down to my butt) to the point I felt I needed to apologize. He then made fun of me for wanting a wolf cut. We talked about preserving the length, and then it was two hours of almost complete silence. When he turned the chair around, I saw he had cut off a good six inches of hair he wasn't supposed to. When I said I was upset, he waved me off and said it wasn't that short and told me to come back if I saw any inconsistencies, and said there probably would be some. My hair is now touching my shoulders, and I only have layers on one side of my head. I don't feel comfortable enough to go back to him. I'm so upset because this shop is so close and the dogs are so cute and the other stylists seemed lovely. **Update** I was contacted by the owner after this review, and they offered me a make up haircut. When I got there, they were upset with me for writing a review instead of emailing them, and implied that I was blowing the whole thing out of proportion. They then tried to put the blame for my experience with Paul on me? But all I did was pay too much for a cut that wasn't anything like what I wanted. Communicating with a client sitting a foot away from you shouldn't be difficult. And getting upset with people for posting reviews isn't practical.
Ash is a great stylist! I always love getting my hair cut here. It’s consistent and looks great every time. Otis is an excellent greeter too!
