Absolutely loved my experience here - Charlee was amazing! I normally wear very minimal makeup but wanted to be 'photo ready' so I went in feeling a bit intimated in explaining what I as looking for. Charlee was very patient and talked through everything with me and I was SO happy with the outcome.
Eli did an amazing job with my makeup for a brand photoshoot. I wanted to look like an elevated version of myself and he nailed it. Aside from the clear artistic talent, Eli is also so personable and funny which made the experience even better. I will definitely be back!
Brittnay’s makeup rocked my face. She finished my look after my hair, tan, nails and new outfit and I was red carpet ready! I will tell you, I was a little uncomfortable at first. My Mom was blind. I grew up with no sisters. They only adopted one girl. The only thing in my house was Noxzema. I hike a bunch, too, so I rarely wear makeup. I put myself in Brittnay’s cozy high Hollywood director’s chair she brought to my hotel room. And for the first time ever, she added a few eyelashes. You couldn’t tell. They just looked better! I ruled out ones that could lift you off the ground if you batted them fast enough. When she finished, she asked how I liked my look. I peered at the girl in the mirror. I told her I had to get used to her. I was meeting a new version of me for the first time, I told Sparkle Bar’s Alex Bradberry when she kindly asked how I liked my makeup. I glanced in the mirror during the day and saw this new girl. And I wasn’t mad. If only I put in the time and had the skills. 🤔 I’m coming back for lessons. Thank you, Brittnay for being patient when you got to the hotel room first! And for your talents and chatting me up while you got me ready for a spectacular day at Powerhouse Women! I recently visited the Sparkle Bar for the first time. Eli was my makeup artist, and it was such a great experience! He took the time to learn my style, which is more natural, and my eyelashes were on point!! The place was very clean and they took extra precautions for hygiene, which I appreciated!
I needed makeup done for my family holiday photoshoot. Booked online with Liz. The Sparkle Bar is a great vibe — decor, music, etc. I love that the receptionist asked me to wash my hands before my service. Appreciate trying to keep people healthy during cold/flu season. As someone with a husband who is high risk for COVID (and the fact that makeup artists need to get SO close to you face to do their job) I was grateful that in 2024 both makeup artists were masked. They truly care about health of clients. Liz listened to what I was trying to achieve and then worked her magic in just 45 mins. She was a pleasure to chat with and at the end handed me a mirror and offered to add or change anything. Excellent communication. Overall wonderful experience. I’ll certainly book next time I need my makeup done!
