My first time on a boat and the experience was memorable. Very nice atmosphere Dave was very nice and laid back. He is also a great tour guide! If you are visiting St Petersburg i highly recommend you book a tiki tour!!
I chose to take the wife out for a birthday boat tour and found Totally Tiki. I loved the idea that I get to bring my own drinks and/or snacks. The wife and I grabbed what we wanted and went out there for the public tour. Well, when we got there, Austin greeted us and helped us get our cooler bag onto the boat. He welcomed us aboard and we were only ones there. From what they say on the website is that if there isn't enough people, they would cancel the tour. Captain Austin told us that we were the only ones, but because it was such a nice day, he decided to make an exception for us. We ended with a private tour with just the two of us! Thank you Captain Austin for that, especially since it was for my wife's birthday! We all talked throughout the tour, sharing stories and what not. Overall it was a great experience and relaxing time! Definitely wanting to take more family next time and maybe do the sunset tour next. Hopefully we'll have Captain Austin again, too!
Incomparable experience - should be called the Tiki + wildlife tour based on the insane amount of dolphins and birds we saw. Austin was the BEST captain, and huge props for working on a holiday. New family tradition
Oh, what fun!!! We did the tiki boat tour on a Monday to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Being a weekday, they had availability and the booking process was smooth! We strolled on the beautiful streets of St Pete to while away time and just around reporting time, the Florida weather strode in with such anger!! We expected to cancel the entire experience... That's when we met Captain Dave! And starting with our first conversation, he reassured us and made us feel comfortable. He suggested that we wait for a while and if the weather did not get better, he would cancel the trip to ensure our safety. And as the seasoned captain predicted, the clouds cleared and out came this fantastic rainbow and the evening turned out to be nothing short of a dream!! The weather, the wind, the explosive sunset, the sky, the dolphins, the night lights/sky were just spectacular!!! We played Bollywood music to set the mood! You must watch the video to see Captain Dave join in on the fun & rock those Bollywood-dance moves!! We had great conversations and Dave helped us locate some dolphins & idle at perfect locations to admire the night lights of beautiful St Pete. We couldn't have asked for a better guided tour! Thank you Totally Tiki Tours & Captain Dave!! We highly recommend Totally Tiki Tours! I might want to try their other pickup locations though, to enjoy the fabulous mangroves and birds our Florida has to offer and venture a little further into the waters.
Captain Dave was the best ever!!! This is the person you should book! He had everything rocking!! He found the dolphins and knew everything we needed to know! He definitely made our experience a Vibe!!!
