Okay don't take the three-star review as a bad thing. First let me clarify why, I took my daughter and my niece there for my daughter's 15th birthday present. The facility was very clean The attractions were well maintained for this type of venue prices were very reasonable not cheap but not astronomical either. I've taken my children to various venues of this style however this was our first time here. Now for the reasons why the three stars. First and foremost their lack of clarity of who this venue is promoted towards. They advertise as a family fun environment something for everyone when in reality it's realisticaly designed for the 13 and under crowd. The building is not the largest so this limits the size of each attraction however they do put as many as possible inside. So for smaller children this is great The heights of the climbing areas combined with the smaller areas are perfect for smaller people with many of them being limited specific heights and under. The staff mind you all were definitely very friendly and cooperative and we had no problem from any of them though they are teenagers so with that being said there is the lack of job responsibility that you might expect in the eyes of a parent for the people that are watching over your children safety. Not saying anything bad about any of them who were there yesterday when we were they all did a very good job as far as taking care of the patrons that they were working with, that teenage attention deficit to their job role as far as sense of urgency goes was the only issue we saw. The Cafe is limited to their food choices they do offer some adult beverage selections as well which if you plan to be there for a while could definitely be a bonus to some parents it is a very loud place mind you the amount of small screaming children and one can find area can be quite calamitous. Thankfully my girls are fairly small and stature so they were able to find things they enjoyed. However as far as the family over all it was not an equally shared pleasure. Purchasing online prior to going we were left With only the knowledge afforded us from their website and based upon that we chose to purchase the everything included bracelets for everyone which was you know honesty a waste of money as we were only able to accommodate a couple of attractions. I only took a couple photos here because we had planned on leaving everything in our locker as we would at one of the other similar facilities and be involved the entire time enjoying ourselves alongside the kids. This was the last thing we done before we left and at that point we had done retrieved our items from our locker so it's just a picture of the scoreboard since I was busy zapping as many of the opponents as I could in the laser tag game therefore I wasn't busy taking pictures until the end. I was Zero in the game by the way the lone man out there, surrounded by teams of children and mothers and daughters, whom all realized quickly I was the biggest easiest to find target keeping me constantly under attack and on the move so never did I have a second to get any pics till it was through. In conclusion you're looking for somewhere that everyone will feel equally involved and be able to be involved together in each activity as a family if your good with places that are focused mainly towards the 13 and under size average great place for families but if you're wanting something that is more above that genre I'd recommend possibly doing a little bit more research and looking elsewhere Hope this helps
Yesterday we had our daughters 3rd birthday party here and Marcus was our party host. Everything was well put together and the amount of attention paid to us and our guests was amazing. Not only did our daughter and her friends have the time of their lives, so did we. We had piece of mind. The environment was clean, and all of our needs for the party were met thanks to Marcus. He checked in with us frequently, was very kind towards us and had a lot of good energy. If you book a party with Urban Air in Plainfield, I highly recommend asking for Marcus as your party host!
This was our first time visiting Urban Air, we rented a party room that night, and we had Marcus as our server. To say he was great, would be an understatement. He was professional, courteous, and very friendly. He made our experience an even more amazing! I highly recommend Urban Air and Marcus! Thanks for the great memories!
Great experience, the laser tag was amazing. This is the best Urban Air I have attended. Management seems to get it. We had been to this location before and ended up with a membership this time. I would recommend signing up online, but you might want to do it when you get here to explain all of the level or tiers. Some are height based and others are level of purchase ( ultimate/platinum / basic) based. If you get a membership for all of your kid at the same “over 40 inches level” you will be fine as that comes at the platinum level. There is a ropes course, a sky rider and of course trampolines of various types. My kids seem to spend a lot of time using this slide surprisingly!
We celebrated my son’s birthday today. The atmosphere was so fun, safe and clean. We met the owner and she was so lovely. Jaslynne helped us with our entire party experience. She was phenomenal. She offered so much help and exceeded our expectations. Will be back.
