prices are always competitive and they are always doing a great job for us. I've bought two TVs here and the prices have been the best.
I had the easiest experience buying today. I shop early for Christmas and thankfully they were starting their black Friday sale this week. Josh helped me out and it was great because of his honesty. There was no pressure to buy, he just presented me with options. Josh was amazing because while he showed me an upgrade, he listened to what I wanted and was able to deliver. I walked out with a TV and wall mount and am very happy. So quick and easy. I appreciated being walked out and carefully setting the TV in the backseat of my car. Will definitely recommend shopping here and shopping local business always has better customer service!
I bought a 55-in TCL TV that is a popular model for this summer and available on sale at multiple different locations including big box electronic stores and Wal-y World. But the personal service and the atmosphere at Video Only in Tukwila provided by salesman Byron is second to none. If you appreciate more of an old school customer service experience that is personalized, not rushed or tense, and is easy, then this is the place. I can't wait to have a reason to go back. Byron is an exceptional salesman with a fun and easy demeanor. Go see him!
My father and I purchased a Yamaha AV receiver from Video Only. The initial salesperson, Jerold, was helpful—but that’s where the good experience ended. The unit we bought was a floor model, which we were assured was in perfect working condition. After months of struggling to get it to work—with help from multiple people—it turned out to be defective (flashing red light, short circuit warning, and a bent antenna). We returned to the store with the receipt, fully aware we were outside the return window. We weren’t asking for a refund—just an exchange, repair, or even store credit toward an upgraded model. Instead, we were treated rudely and dismissively by a salesperson named Chris, who repeatedly refused to help and told us to "look it up online" when we asked for help with accessories we purchased from him (banana clips, speaker wire, and Bluetooth headphones). My father is a lifelong audiophile on a limited income, and he’s now out $550 for a non-working unit. I work in customer service and would never treat a customer this way. We've been completely ignored after multiple attempts to resolve this through the store. Until this is addressed, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere and making sure others know about our experience.
If it had not been for someone else giving me a reason to notice the store, I thought the building was empty and use to be an old VHS video store. WELL, its not empty, mostly and only LED TV, with a wide range of sizes and prices. Do your homework before going in, the variety and # of TV manufacturers, include, Sony, Samsung, Konica, LG, and others. My friend got a 46", Sony, paid about twice what I did for a 43" Konica, 4k Ultra HD, Android TV with built in Chromecast, IR Remote, which with taxes was $275, ($249 before tax). The sound is adequate, not so good on the bass frequencies, but the the TV support surround sound, screen Casting and takes a bit and a while to set up. The TV is light and has a thin side view profile. Color is good, But seems to bleed a little, but that could be due to The antenna TV stations I was watching. I have not used it enough to date to provide any other useful commentary. Free would have been better but $275 final cost wasn't bad for what I got. It replaced a 32 inch Samsung, not so smart, and network and memory finicky, Older Smart TV from 2012 era. Best final detail support wireless and wired mice and keyboards. Second to last better technical detail, the on screen keyboard Konica uses is superior to Samsung's. The remote could stand a design review and up grade in quality of material to improve tactile sense it wasn't going to explode in your hand, being so light and seemingly flimsy. All in all, I won't complain or applaud it any further.
