This was my first time getting a haircut and bleach in Montreal, and I was a bit nervous before the appointment—until I walked into the salon. It was super chill, and everyone was so friendly. The environment is really comfortable, and the atmosphere is just perfect—you won’t feel intimidated at all. Shoutout to MJ! They did my hair exactly the way I wanted, even better than I asked for, and were so easy to talk to.
Jade did an awesome job. I’ve had a tough time finding the right cut in Vancouver, and this was easily my best haircut in a long time. She’s skilled, thoughtful, and really easy to chat with. Genuinely considering flying back in a few months for my next cut. Thank you, Jade!
I knew as soon as I sat in MJs chair I was sold lol was recommended by a dear friend who always referenced MJ for giving her "the best cut" shes ever had and SAME ! I dont do reviews but had to show support and give props to a true talent! MJs intuitive but backed with all the skill and vision and no pretentious vibes at all considering their abilities ;) the whole vibe was so safe and comfy and im happy to have listened to my friends advice and cool to be able to trust someone with my silly hairline and hair type ♥️ thank you !!!
This was my first time in a salon since moving to Montreal back in September. Before this, I had the same stylist for over 5 years, needless to say, leaving them was hard and I was very nervous about finding a new stylist to help me execute my vision. After a LOT of research, i stumbled upon APART Studio and knew that this was the right place. I booked an appointment pretty last minute and they had no problem accommodating. I went to see Jade for a cut and colour, and I was absolutely blown away by my experience at the salon! Jade was amazingly kind, we started with a consultation where we went over the plan; Jade asked all the right questions and understood exactly what I was going for! She was meticulous and made sure to consult with me through every step of the process, that really helped to make sure we got it right c: My French is admittedly terrible but Jade was awesome and made it easy to chat even if she thought her English wasn’t good lol 💜 She was kind, funny, and inquisitive which made conversation rlly easy n fun and helped pass the time nicely! The rest of the staff there were also so so nice n accomodating, they got me water and coffee and just made the experience that much grater ☺️ The results were so perfect too c: I am absolutely in love w the cut and the colour she mixed up for my bangs is soooo cutie!!!! Thank u so much bby~ I have gotten a lot of compliments on my hair so it’s not even just me who loves it c: I will definitely be back again!!
Friday (Indi) gave me SUCH an amazing experience both times I’ve had the pleasure of getting my hair done by her. It’s like chatting with a friend! She is such a sweet soul, in addition to being exceptional at what she does. I wanted a complete transformation from just a one note red hair to a fun calico, and she accomplished it with such ease. As well, the vibes at the studio are immaculate, atmosphere and people. So happy, and definitely will be going time and time again!
