Mark helped me refine and perfect a design I had in mind for a small fine line tattoo. He listened to what I wanted, offered suggestions to help maintain the integrity of the tattoo over time, and revised the design quickly. He was super patient as I figured out the exact placement of the tattoo and made me feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend his services!

Mark is a true artist! He does fantastic realism work! The photos speak for themselves! Mark is very patient and thorough. The shop is very clean and Mark operates in a clean and professional manner. I gave Mark creative control of my tattoo, all I suggested was dark/scenic/realism and he CRUSHED it. If you have your heart set on certain designs, he will never try to change your push you in a direction that doesn't suit your desire. This is hands down the best artist in the city. Communication from first meeting, to design, to each session scheduling, to after care has been incredible. I have never had such luck with any other artist. I have about 12hrs of work at Back Bay Ink and have more to go, look forward to my next appt! This is a TRUE artist and a prime example of what a tattoo shop should be!
