I hired Berkey's to top off the insulation in my attic and they did a great job. My initial inquiry to Berkey was directed to a salesperson. Within a couple of hours the salesperson was at my house providing me an estimate. Installation of the insulation was done a day or two later in just a few hours. The team they dispatched was professional, completed the job and cleaned up afterwards. I would have no problems recommending Berkey's.
I have been a loyal fan of Berkey for years, but they lost my trust after this visit. I called them to unclog a pipe, but they essentially gave up because I didn’t have a ladder for them to use. Instead of returning with the right equipment, they quoted me $4,000 to break into my wall and redo the piping. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but I had to hire someone else to actually finish the job they quoted me for. Another technician arrived, got onto the roof, and cleared the clog perfectly for $450. Everything works now, and there was no need to break any walls. This other guy was transparent and explained that in an old house like mine, these pipes are normal and don't require a $4,000 "upgrade" just to fix a clog. It is shocking that Berkey pushed a solution that was 10 times more expensive than the necessary fix. I haven’t received my invoice yet, but I am very disappointed that they preferred a $4,000 demolition over a necessary $450 cleaning. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to their expensive solutions.
Michael was the plumber who came out to help me with a faucet replacement . Water in laundry room would not turn off and he replaced both for me in a short time . The professional , quick was appreciated . As I’m getting my house ready for sale. Michael also checked my garbage disposal and got it running efficiently. He was a gentleman and very respectful of what I was needing for my house to sell. Thank you again.
Excellent customer service! I needed an urgent electrical issue addressed and Berkeys came to the rescue. Great communication and incredible staff! I was kept informed of the timing, and ended up being the first call of the day. Wow, that was impressive. Even more impressive was electrician James French. Truly the nicest person!! Polite, friendly, knowledgeable... a true professional. I can rest easy (literally!) knowing that my electrical issue has been resolved correctly. Loved the up-front pricing too. I'll be a repeat customer, and will highly recommend Berkeys. Thank you for being my angels today!!
My experience with Berkeys was great. The service was wonderful. It was fast. The guys were in and out. They even called in the inspection and everything pass great work.
