Finally made it out here to this wonderful nook full of interesting books. The children's section is huge and close half the of the store. The adult area has real interesting finds with a focus on "indie" books and authors. There's a good selection of games, puzzles and knick-knacks for gifts or personal use 😄. Blue Willow has been here 29 years and they promote other indie bookstores in the Houston Metro. There is a space next door for events which are held on the regular. The event authors sign their names on the walls above the bookcases. Cool 😎. The staff is welcoming and super knowledgeable. Definitely recommend visiting Blue Willow. 👌🏻

Absolutely adorable. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a book and it was in within a couple days…and then they generously kept it for me until I could get there a week later. I love going in, picking section, and exploring the array of titles. And my kids are in love with being able to run right to where everything they can read is. This place is a gem!

Best independent book stores in Houston!! My wife and kids love going and seeing the new books! The staff are friendly and always helpful. They also have amazing events. We just saw David Shannon for the second time!

I love Blue Willow! The staff always welcomes people as they walk in which is nice when you’re new. The author events are extremely well organized! Cathy has it down to a science 👌🏻 They bring in some amazing writers. I love seeing the different signatures on the signing wall. I especially love the variety of involvement with the community and book clubs.
