Came for the Burek, Left with so much more! My wife and I have come here a few times and it has always been fantastic. From the kindness of the women who work there to the pastries they make. But today stood out over all, I made a casual comment to my wife about how amazing all of the deserts they made looked and how "I wish I could just buy a piece of each of them." After we left with a few Potato Bureks and a slice or two of the Pistachio cake. One of the women came outside with a Togo box, at first I thought we had forgotten some of what we ordered. It wasn't until after she had gone back inside we looked inside the box and she had given us a piece/slice of almost every cake or pastry they had on display! I know this has been long winded, and I hope the first line sums it up for those who dont wish to read the entire review. But I can't begin to describe how deeply moved by this act of kindness. Truly a wonderful place, Amazing staff and even better pastries. 10/10
They did a personalized cake for me with a short notice. They went above and beyond on the decoration and the flavor was outstanding! It’s also reasonably priced. Definitely will be going back.
I don't see too many places in the KC metro that have Balkan cuisine so when I heard about this place, I knew I had to try it. The bürek is amazing especially the cheese one. I also tried a meat and spinach one. It's a small place with friendly staff. Next time I will definitely try some of their sweet pastries.
This cute little bakery is tucked into a Northland neighborhood and offers up some tasty treats. The assorted fruit flavored tiramisu were probably my favorite. Cream puffs were tasty! Their traditional desserts were good as well. Not too sweet. I did not get to try one of the burek, but hope to be back soon. I have to give a shout out to the lady behind the counter... she was so warm and welcoming. A great addition to the neighborhood that I grew up in.
Some of the best desserts I have ever had! Everybody is so nice! A new favorite place of mine! From different Dubai chocolate treats, other beautiful and tasty creations to the Bureks in meat and cheese, just get one of everything! There is nothing I haven't absolutely loved! Get there early for a better selection!
