*Update to the below. My husband and I took my in-laws to dinner yesterday and had a poor experience. First of all, we had a reservation at 5:45pm. We showed up a few minutes before then where the hostess instructed us they were getting the table ready. 5:45pm comes and goes and my husband follows up with the hostess. She seats us at a table right in front of the host stand that had been open and set since we arrived. They were also out of oysters, branzino and a handful of wines. The timing of the dishes were also remarkably off from the first time we visited. All in all, it feels as though this is another Austin restaurant that is unable to keep up with the demand from all the hype. We had a wonderful dinner at Casa Bianca and tried a variety of dishes. We started with the oysters, which were fresh and well seasoned, and the bluefin cannoli, which was a unique and flavorful bite. The confit fried chicken wings were outstanding—crispy, savory, and easily one of the highlights of the evening. We also enjoyed the whole branzino, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned, making it another favorite at the table. The cavatelli was flavorful, though a touch too salty for our liking. Still, the overall quality and creativity of the menu really stood out. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and we appreciated the ease of parking nearby. Service was truly exceptional—the pacing of the courses was spot on, and the attention to detail throughout the evening elevated the entire experience. Casa Bianca is a gem, and we’re already looking forward to returning
Holy cow!! I’m rarely surprised to find a new gem in Austin. We have so many, but I feel like I rarely find a new “something special.” Well, I found a new gem today at Casa Bianca! Not only was the service amazing (shout out to Richie!), but the drink, FOOD, entire service crew (from runners to servers to host to chef!!), and atmosphere were all Michelin-caliber. The chef even came out to chat with us (he saw me literally lick the plate it was so the food was so good!). The risotto was my favorite of the night if I was forced to pick, followed closely by those chicken wings (I almost got them for “dessert” but was too full). But genuinely, an exquisite evening from top to bottom!! Sorry my photos aren’t the best. I was too excited to eat!!
I had a family dinner last Friday night. And we loved the food, the service was amazing as well. We order all for sharing and the food comes as it’s ready, which I really liked. I definitely recommend the mushroom lasagna, the veg arancini, risotto, and my favorite was the Pork Belly with the touch of the peach it was incredible. Also they had cool wine glasses, bigger than my head. And our server surprised us with the dessert, thanks queen! Overall love the food and the service❤️
Casa Bianca is a gem in Austin. From the moment we sat down, the experience was flawless. The oysters were unbelievably fresh, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. This set the tone for the rest of the meal. The cocktails were equally impressive, balanced and creative, and truly among the best in the city. The mango margarita was to die for. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out quickly, which made the evening feel effortless. Casa Bianca has that rare mix of elevated food, top-notch drinks, and warm, professional service. I can’t recommend it enough.
They offer bar, indoor or outdoor seating. The food is good but not great. All plates were obviously small portions that came with a steep price tag. All food tasted fresh. The cocktails were also very good. Overall, you’re paying for your service and ambiance and not for your meal.
