I loved my experience at Coastal Roots Hair Salon. Genevieve is my stylist, I travel 4 hours to this salon for her work. She takes her time & makes sure you are in love with your new look before you leave. I encourage everyone to book an appointment with Genevieve, she does NOT disappoint!
Bethanny is amazing at what she does. I first went to see her back in February after I went to a salon asking to be platinum, but I left with dark hair instead. I booked my first appointment with Bethanny to fix my hair, and she did an incredible job. Over the past few months, she has spent a lot of time carefully color-correcting my hair and making sure it stayed healthy while working toward the platinum I wanted. Her attention to detail and dedication really show in her work. Bethanny’s work is truly phenomenal, and I couldn’t be happier with my results.

When I booked my appointment, I had to do some paperwork, and one of the questions is what experience level stylist would I like and I purposely clicked somebody who has 5+ years of experience. Well, whoever booked my appointment and chose my stylist chose to ignore my request and book me with a stylist who is a new grad. That was the first mistake. I went in there, asking for highlights and to go back brunette because my hair was auburn. So I wanted a simple brunette with a partial highlight to add a bit of dimension. Long story short, my hair has so many different colors going on, some parts are overly processed, and then the top parts were not lifted for long enough and are still very copper because she was very slow at placing foils. I was there for over four hours, and this is the result? And at the bare minimum, nobody should walk out of a professional salon with color stains all over their face. * My hair stylist was Gena Day * When I called about my concerns, the manager offered to have me come in and fix it but only gave me 1 time slot availability which was not a time I was available for. So she ended up refunding me 50% of what I paid. The crazy part is she didn’t even agree that my hair looked like crap and she defended the work. I think it’s simple to say there were mistakes performed and apologize. But whatever.
Sirena is truly a hair artist! From the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel comfortable, listened carefully to what I wanted, and delivered even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail and skill are unmatched; Every strand was perfectly placed, and she took her time to make sure everything looked flawless. What I love most is how passionate she is about her work. You can tell she genuinely cares about making you look and feel your best. My hair has never looked so healthy, styled, and full of life! I walked out feeling confident and completely refreshed. If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing, takes pride in their craft, and makes the whole experience enjoyable, go to Sirena! You’ll leave loving your hair every single time! 💇♀️✨
