Watching them sit there, steering imaginary wheels while capes of barber cloth fluttered around them, was pure cinematic parenting gold. Overall positive first haircut experience for our 2 year old. Our stylist was kind and patient with her. She had many tricks up her sleeve to get a toddler to do what was needed. Would come back again! She was very excited to sit in the car and get a balloon after!
We took our 2 year old for his first cut and Sarah was AMAZING. He has sensory processing issues and we were nervous how he would handle it, but she took her time with him and pulled out all the stops to make it a good experience. We drove almost an hour to make the appointment and will definitely do it again.
We brought our 19 month old for his 1st haircut (and our 1st kid cut) and we all loved it! He normally fights us to fix his hair at home so we were prepared for a meltdown but they do such a good job with distracting the kids and making them comfortable. He didn’t fuss AT ALL. All the stations have cars for the kids to sit in and a tv to play something for them. We were only there for maybe 45 minutes give or take, but in that time all the employees were pleasant and the kids/parents coming in were happy to be there. It’s a huge relief to know there is a good place to take our son for future cuts.
Nancy was amazing! So patient and calm with my 19 month old who was NOT having it for his first haircut. I would HIGHLY recommend her! She’s awesome and the haircut was so cute.
