I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered a Christmas gift on Dec 21, knowing it wouldn’t arrive by the holiday, and waited two weeks. On Jan 3, after receiving a 'DELIVERED' email, I went to the store. An employee asked me to wait while they retrieved my order. After 16 minutes, they told me it was still on the pallets and asked for another 20 minutes to find it. No one ever checked back on me. When I finally asked for an update, a different employee told me it hadn't even been delivered yet and promised a call the next day. I waited until Jan 8 with no call. When I returned, I was told to wait again. After 11 minutes, the store leader informed me my order had been canceled—no call or email notification was ever sent. They claimed it was out of stock, which makes no sense if the order was accepted in the first place. The level of unprofessionalism was staggering. The leader promised to call customer service on Jan 9 to arrange home delivery, only to tell me the next day that I had to call them myself because 'the store couldn't do anything.' Today, I called customer service, and they simply confirmed the cancellation. Despite the runaround I received from the store staff, no resolution was offered, and no one cared to escalate my complaint. It was a complete waste of time and a total lack of accountability.
I went in the other day with an online order issue and Victoria was SO helpful. She went above and beyond to try and come up with a solution for me and took her time to find a product for me and put it on hold. I went in anxious about getting my item on time for christmas, and left with a solution i was happy with. Victoria is amazing and I’m really grateful for her help!
I rarely write reviews, but several staff members at the La Jolla UTC Crate & Barrel truly deserve some recognition for jobs well done. I was in the market for an air fryer and after doing a lot of online research went into the store to see the appliances in person. I’m glad I did for several reasons, but mostly because I received fantastic customer service! On the day of the visit, I worked with a couple of staff members (Lindsay and Amy) who helped me by sharing their knowledge and expertise regarding the models I was interested in seeing. They took the time to not only share their personal experiences and practical suggestions, but also to listen to me about my questions and concerns. This was for one of the higher-end appliances and I wanted to be sure I understood all of the benefits, features, pros and cons. They took their time and were very helpful – even pointing out a couple of things I hadn’t thought to ask. I even had a question about price adjustments should the one I buy go on sale soon after purchasing it. They said they did offer it and explained the policy and time parameters and told me to check back post-purchase in case it did go on sale and get reduced. As a result of their help, I confirmed the one that would work best and made the purchase. It turned out that it did go on sale within their approved time window and I called back to get a refund, which was not an insignificant amount. I worked with both Leah and Luis and they were able to refund the difference of the original price minus the sale price, which was fantastic! All four of these store reps were not only professional, but incredibly helpful! Thank you all for your excellent customer service!
My wife and I are frequent visitors at Crate & Barrel—we honestly love this store. We never leave empty-handed, there’s always something we find that’s just right. Recently, it was time to upgrade our living room furniture, and of course, we came straight here. The salesperson was super helpful and walked us through a bunch of great options without any pressure. What we really appreciate is how friendly and welcoming everyone is. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a smile. The staff really knows their stuff—they explain everything clearly and always have answers to your questions. Great service, great products, great experience. Five stars without a doubt!
First time in here we were pleasantly greeted. I love this store. Wish they had more locations in San Diego area. We were looking for a couch in which Jeff helped us and answered all of our questions. Jess has awesome personality and is very professional. Dining ware is beautiful. Found our couch.
