If not the best Indian food we’ve had in San Diego. It’s near the top of a very short list.. first trip with friends allowed us to try the Naan, a lamb kebabs, ochre, lamb Bryani, shrimp Bryani, chicken tikka Marsala and goat. They were all delicious and the service was excellent. Staff was very attentive, food came out promptly and we played it safe with a spice level of 5 which was great for our group. Food was deliciously spice forward but certainly not over the top and a great value. Uptown is lucky to have this new culinary addition. I Look forward to another visit soon.
One of the best place for North Indian cuisine. The food and service is so good. Both veg and non veg options are great. They have parking.
From start to finish, everything was perfect. Fresh ingredients, amazing taste, friendly staff, and fair pricing. Easily one of the top Indian restaurants in the area. Highly recommend trying it at least once—you’ll keep coming back!
Curry Nation is newly opened, and we had a great experience. The food was fast, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service and took the time to recommend some of their best dishes. We were a group of six, arrived very hungry, and ended up finishing everything we ordered — that says a lot! Special thanks to Neeraj and Pooja for making sure everything was just right. The naans truly stood out — soft, fresh, and easily the best of the meal. We ordered gobi manchurian (4.5/5), chicken 65 (4/5), goat karahi (4/5), kaju mushroom (4.5/5), naan (5/5), and lime soda (5/5). We’re on a trip to LA and San Diego and stopped by since it’s very close to the San Diego Zoo and USS Midway. Definitely worth the visit, and we’ll be coming back again!
Finally a nice, authentic and decent Indian restaurant in San Diego! As a foodie, I personally went to this place to give a try (the restaurant just opened their doors) and I actually really enjoyed the experience. The food was really flavorful and tasty; the atmosphere was pleasant and they have Indian songs playing in the background which is nice. The service was good; still needs improvements; but everything was very nice overall. I highly recommend this place and for sure I will be back.
