"I met Heidi as I approached the counter. I described the outdoor setting I had seen on website and she immediatly knew it was the Catalina. She also showed me other settings and had good product knowledge. She kept an eye out for me without crowding me as I made my decision. She double checked the Catalina was in stock which was what I wanted. She gave me bank transfer details, so I didnt incur a credit card surcharge. After leaving the store my husband said, well that was pretty painless lol!" We have the outdoor setting now and I think it looks terrific. It really is perfect for the space.
We found Kim very helpful. She genuinely wanted to help us - trying everything to match up all of our dining set. Mostly she was very patient and very fit as we took her all around the store looking for the right furniture. What about this or this! Omg we must have been so frustrating! Eventually we decided on the Oakdale range. Its amazing & we are so very happy. Cant wait till it comes home to us. Not long now!
If you purchase anything from this store that needs a professional to install it, make sure you book your tradies at least a full month after the estimated delivery time that early settler give you. Twice in a row now we’ve had weeks-long delays on our orders, with zero communication or updates from anyone. You’ll be chasing your orders up with customer service, who will tell you “it’s on the next truck and should be in the Adelaide store for you to collect within 1-2 weeks”. Firstly, why does it take that long for a truck to get from Melbourne to Adelaide? Are your trucks being pulled by hand??? Secondly, why just tell a blatant lie???? It’s been 2 weeks now, we still haven’t heard anything, and we’ve just called customer service to follow up again only to find out the item hasn’t even left the warehouse? Guys!! Where is this hand-pulled truck at?? Thirdly, if you’re supposedly having “a huge backlog of orders due to Black Friday sales and we’ve booked extra transport companies to accommodate for it”, why did this exact same thing happen to us in September??? The only reason we bought this second item is because you gave us a $150 goodwill voucher to say sorry for stuffing us around so much in the first place. Fool me twice I guess. Having to rebook tradies over and over and over again because you guys can’t be bothered sending an email to update customers when an order is delayed for over a month is just disgusting. I’d honestly rather hand-pull one of your trucks for a month before spending another cent in your store. Have honestly had better customer service from the staff at Kmart.
We recently purchased a new sofa and would like to thank everyone; Manager Jasmine, Assistant Manager John, Ella, Robbie and all the team, including the delivery guys at this wonderful Adelaide store. We had a small issue with an item that was immediately rectified, Customer Service here is truly exceptional. The store always has a fantastic range of styles and designs at great value for money. Thank you for remaining so consistently good over the years, it’s always been a great experience shopping here and can highly recommend.
Purchased sofas 14 yrs ago from Early Settler but after this time the 3 seater had seen better days while 2 seater still near perfect. Found the BODEN sofa, though not same colour, matched style near exactly. Sooo happy with our purchase & Heidi @ Adelaide store made purchasing easy. We are extremely happy & will have no hesitation to shop here again.
