We’ve ordered the pink champagne cake from here about a dozen times, we’ve never had any issues but this time our cake started collapsing. We saw one like it in the display case so we made sure to choose a different one but once we made it home it was split and collapsing like the one in the case. A little disappointing

I really wanted to like this place. It is beautiful. But the service wasn't as friendly as a cafe should be and the food was just ok. It was a cafe with a diner taste. I am a chocolate lover and I tried their mocha and chocolate cupcake. Both were very disappointing. I asked the counter girl what was on top of the cupcake and she said fudge. Since it's a bakery I didn't expect it to taste like icing from a can but it did. The cake itself was so cold and it seemed like it was once frozen. I ate only a few bites. The mocha had no chocolate flavor whatsoever, wasn't sweet at all and had an aftertaste. There were a lot of happy people there and the place is pretty. I just didn't think the service was good and nothing had prices or descriptions, not even the boxed stuff. You have to pick a number just to ask a question and the place is confusing on your first trip. I wouldn't go back to try anything else.

It's been 11 years since I've been to Fresno (my hometown), but I've been lucky enough to have family bring a boysenberry kuchen to Colorado every once in awhile. This week, my parents brought one back after a visit. There is no way for me to express how much I love this breakfast cake. Growing up, every time we'd visit my grandparents, they'd have one ready for us. And no matter how many years have gone by, it always matches my memories, tasting and smelling the same. As someone who moved a lot as a kid, I don't have a "childhood home." What I do have are certain places and things that anchor me to different times in my life, and I know that this sounds hyperbolic, but Eddie's Bakery's boysenberry kuchen is one of those places/foods. Now, the cake is almost gone. Knowing that I'll never be able to truly replicate it, I'll make my best effort during winter break, when I have lots of time on my hands. I wish you offered shipping. Heck, I'd be happy if you wrapped it in foil and shoved it in a flat-rate priority box. Haha All of that to say - thank you for continuing to make something that brings me so much joy!

If you’re looking for a place to fully embrace your cheat day, this bakery is the spot! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by rows of pastries, loaves, and sweet treats that make it nearly impossible to choose just one …or five, lol. They offer a ton of options—everything from buttery danishes and turnovers (highly recommend the apple one) to fresh-from-the-oven sourdough bread that was calling my name! They have a full menu for coffee, lattes, chai – from Peet's Coffee. A ton of space and they have a cool spot for larger parties. This place is dangerously delicious and was worth the extra calories. Cheat day well spent!

I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday. When I picked it up it was an absolutely cute cake on the outside. The decoration was exactly what we wanted. However, when we cut into the cake it had a gaping hole on one side and it crumbled apart and dry. It was weird like the cake had baked with a giant airbubble on the side I cut into. So we took the cake back to show them and they blamed us for making the hole; Saying we used the wrong knife. All my other cakes that I've ordered from eddies have been amazing and I've ordered from them since my kids were babies. I felt attacked and I'm not sure I will be going to them again after the embarrassment they made us feel. Were Christian and we don't do those kinds of things so its very disheartening after I spent $88 on a small cake and left a tip for the baker. I believe in taking care of those who take care of you. It was disappointing to say the least. I'll attach a photo and you can clearly see the hole they blamed on us, utterly humiliating.
