this is an honest review for the board and train. i would give a 3.5/5. it was affordable and very effective for teaching loose leash walking, which im incredibly grateful for, but aside from that, my dog is still reactive to other dogs. reactivity is the main thing i asked them to work on when i went in for my consult. they assured me that it was part of the program. i worried that they would spend much of the time going over basic obedience, which my dog was already very good at, and not spend enough time on reactivity. unfortunately that seems to have turned out to be true. in a controlled environment my dog can walk fine, but out in public around other dogs, nothing has changed. he still lunges, barks, and reacts severely. if your dog is not reactive and you’re looking for basic obedience and loose leash walking this is a great board and train! however, if you’re looking for an effective solution to reactivity, this board and train is not it. i wish they had tailored their program to my dogs individual needs instead of using the same program for all of their clients.

Elite Dogs is truly our favorite boarding facility. The entire team is polite and professional. I always know that my dog is in great care. We have even done the board and training and Courtney is so kind and patient when we had a million questions. If you are ever thinking about Training this is the place to send your fury friend! Just picked up my dog from boarding for 11 days. She has never been boarded since we rescued her due to her resource guarding and bite history. She did amazing and the staff were great with updates when I called or texted. They also spent time with her and built a relationship with her of trust. Beyond grateful for this experience!

They always take so good taking care of my German shepherd. Always considerate of his needs since he is like my child. Anything you need they will listen and follow. I started taking my german shepherd there for training since he is reactive with other dogs and they taught me and him so many things that build our relationship stronger. It continue training on both the owner and the pet. It won’t change in one day. I continue taking my dog here and he seem to like the people :) and never afraid. Will continue to take my doggie here anytime.

Love this place for our 3 dogs, we’ve been coming here for years. All 3 of our dogs went to board and train here and we send them for boarding several times a year. Courtney and staff are amazing, my pups love going there and we love that all 3 can stay together and don’t need to be separated. The extra services they offer are well worth it, my dogs always come home clean and smelling great. 🥰
