First time at Flaco's Barber Shop and I’m already a fan. I like the little shop—nice vibe, relaxed atmosphere. I booked my appointment the day before, showed up 10 minutes early, and Mike was ready for me right away. It was a chill day at the barber; I was the only customer at the time, which made it even better. Got “the works” done. Mike did a great job, and I walked out feeling fresh. Mahalo, Mike, for hooking me up. I’ll definitely be coming back and hopefully becoming a regular.
Flacco’s is the best barbershop in town. It’s conveniently located across from Whole Foods’ parking lot in Ward with 3 stalls of their own. It’s a small, clean space with good AC, friendly barbers who take you right on time. Nice classic rock plays in the background. I highly recommend it.
Love this shop. Barber Mike always does consistent and stylish cuts and has some unique grooming add-ons available, unlike any other shop I've seen. The strip mall chains charge over $30 now for a cut that grows out weird in 3-4 weeks. The nominal additional cost at Flaco's is not only worth the better look, but it seems to last a bit longer. Pro tip: The cash cut is a deal that makes going here an affordable luxury.
This barbershop is legit! I used Mike and he’s a skilled barber! I just moved back to HNL and was searching for a new barber. Attention to details. What I really liked from the beginning they post their prices upfront. Lot of the reviews I read is true and not fake. Chill barbershop, good vibes as other customers stated. Within the first 5 minutes sitting in the chair I just could tell I was going to get a great haircut. Lot of barbers buzz cut you with clippers and that’s it. The whole time spent with me he was NOT texting or on the cell phone talking and gave me 100% of his time to make sure I was happy. Dude is skilled with the blade, and also used the scissors on top of my head. So many barbers just clip! I wear my hair (high & tight, skin fade) he trimmed my beard exactly the way I like it. I’m a loyal customer, you do me right and I’ll be back and stay with you. MAHALO MIKE!!! You do excellent work. See you again soon.
