My first experience with a personal trainer, and I am so happy to have connected with Ryan at Flex Fitness. It's been three months of once weekly sessions in the gym (and two or three sessions on my own at home/in gym). I am increasing my strength and feeling good! The vibe in the gym is welcoming and not at all intimidating. I've seen all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, and I really appreciate just going in and having the workout planned for me - I don't have to do any of that mental work, which is such a benefit to having a trainer, rather than doing it alone with just home equipment or a gym membership. Training with Ryan was suggested when I first contacted Flex Fitness because he has experience working with clients who have Ehlers Danlos hypermobility. I've been in the gym when Alistair and Brody are with clients, and they seem just as encouraging and positive in their approach as Ryan. The gym itself is in a great location, and I appreciate the added benefit of being able to use it for extra workouts (in addition to the weekly sessions with Ryan) anytime from early morning to late in the evening. 100% recommend Flex Fitness personal trainers to anyone seeking a professional fitness program tailored to their goals and unique needs.
I discovered this fitness team at the WFPS Marathon venue. I had classes with trainer Brody and he is phenomenal. He taught me new exercises and corrected my lifting forms. Overall, he is great trainer. Highly recommend this place.
I've been training with Brody at Flex Fitness once a week for a month now; I'm focusing on rebuilding strength after a knee injury and being sedentary far too long. Brody's been great at easing me in (but not too easy!) and adapting exercises as needed when the knee is acting up. He's also given me variations of exercises that I can do at home if I'm short on time or not inclined to go to the gym solo. Brody's great about checking in a day or two after my session to see how I'm doing, and later in the week to help keep me motivated to add in weekday workouts; Alistair also checks in now and then to see how I'm doing and to offer encouragement. All in all I'm pretty satisfied with the training and would happily recommend Flex Fitness to anyone looking to improve their fitness, whatever level you're at!
I had the pleasure of training with Alistair, Ryan, and Jessie. All three were amazing and really helped me get back on track after not being active over the past couple years. I learned a ton from all three. I not once felt judged or intimidated during my sessions. Quite the opposite. The trainers were motivating, friendly, knowledgeable, extremely supportive and understanding. After my initial assessment and some discussion around my identified goals, we set up a plan on how achieve them. They did a great job tailoring my workouts for me in a way that I would leave each session feeling like I was continuing to make progress. They truly take pride in helping their clients succeed in achieving their goals. Great environment and even better people. I’ve been working out at the gym with Jessi for about a month now, I’ve never felt more comfortable in a gym as I do when I’m at Flex, all the trainers are super friendly and personable! They are actually listening to you and your body to help you achieve your goals! I have some major knee issues that limit me… Jessi is able to show me how to still work every muscle so that my workouts are impactful! I’m so happy to have found them! Highly recommend meeting with any of them… you won’t regret it!
