My fiance and I wanted to try something new prior to our wedding, so we took advantage of the introductory offer. We were paired with Yana, who was outstanding! She was so kind and patient with us. My fiance does not enjoy dancing and was a bit nervous before our first lesson, but we had a lot of fun and really appreciated the one-on-one guidance from Yana. We hope to be back soon!
My fiancé and I took father/daughter and mother/son dance lessons here. We did two 40 minutes lessons back to back and time flew by. I wasn’t sure what to expect but we had a ton of fun. Our instructors Natalie and Sodo were phenomenal. They went at our pace, taught us a few styles of dance, and then worked on applying some of that to the songs we had picked up. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for lessons for a wedding dance!
My last 2 years at Fred Astaire have been a dream! I started dancing kind of as a joke. I was traveling to Brazil for my friends wedding and thought I'd learn to Samba in a couple months to prepare. What I found was an energetic and supportive community of like-minded individuals. Positive, supportive, and understanding. And that's just the other students. The instructors are even better. You will not regret your time here. You will feel uncomfortable but you will get past it and on the other side is an unparalleled sense of confidence. And you'll look great doing it!
Ever since January '20, I have gone to Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Milwaukee. What I like best about going is the fact that I not only dance (exercise) but also interact with the staff. The staff is fun to work with and they keep you focused on whatever dance or routine you are doing. I would recommend going to Fred Astaire because learning the dances and routines will keep you fit and get to interact with staff that enjoy what they do and wants you to have as much fun as they do.
Nach zwei Jahren Unterricht muss ich sagen, dass ich mich auch in den kommenden Jahren weiter engagieren werde. Das Personal ist das beste im Land (und hat die Auszeichnungen, die das belegen). Sie sind geduldig und arbeiten im Team zusammen, um sicherzustellen, dass Konzepte, Muster und Choreografie verstanden werden. Sie haben mir und meiner Frau ermöglicht, national gegen andere Amateure anzutreten. Sie haben andere darauf trainiert, auf professionellem Niveau zu konkurrieren. Aber das Wichtigste ist, dass sie es spaßig halten, damit man immer wieder zurückkommt, um sich der Herausforderung zu stellen.
