Amber was amazing!! I’ve always had bad experiences at other nail salons doing my gel x because they shave away too much of my natural nails and make them paper thin…but this is the first salon gel x service I’ve received where my nails are incredibly healthy. Plus super painless and professional! I always do gel x apres by myself at home because my nails are sensitive and I’m just picky, but I’ll definitely be coming back here for a professional gelx service again!
Gloss bar is amazing. Every single staff member is so kind from the girls at the front desk to all their nail techs. Meaghan is amazing and always helps me choose the best colors and designs. Katie is so thoughtful and takes the time to tell you what is the best option to have healthy nails. And Henry is so kind and talented! Everyone there is good, I love them.
Love Glossbar! I’ve been going here for years and was so excited when their new space opened up. It’s very nice, clean, and comfortable. And much bigger than the former space! Everyone who works here is friendly and accommodating. I have been seeing Amy for gel and dip manicures for over a year now, and she’s amazing. Always does a great job, is on time, and has good recommendations. I typically get basic manicures but when I’ve been brave enough to branch out to nail art, chrome, etc. Amy has always done a fabulous job. The booking system is easy, you can either book online or call in. Prices seem fairly comparable to other nice DC nail salons. Thank you Amy and the whole Glossbar team!
I’ve been coming to gloss bar for over 4 years. The customer service is one of the best in the city. They have plenty of drink options when you arrive, I always get the Vietnamese coffee. The location is super clean and sanitized, and they have huge pedi chairs! I’ve been seeing Amy for most of those years and she is amazing! I get a range of designs on my nails and she has ALWAYS done the best work for me! I get builder gel, which Amy introduced me to after years of dip powder, and they have lasted almost 6 weeks. Also the sport pedicure is too notch! I highly recommend Gloss Bar and Amy! My sister also goes to Jenny who is phenomenal as well!
I drive all the way from Rockville to get my nails done here because the service is SO GOOD! The atmosphere is very relaxing and it’s gorgeous inside. They give out complimentary beverages (alcoholic + non-alcoholic) which makes the experience even better. Amy is my nail technician and she can do whatever design you want. Super talented, super fast, super gentle. 10/10 experience. They also offer you a 2 week warranty on your nails, so if they get messed up you can go get them fixed.
