Nathan Bagg, the owner, even takes time to teach practical life skills—like how to change a tire in case of an emergency. That kind of personal attention makes all the difference. I know several of his instructors who are quality law enforcement officers and detectives. They also care deeply about driving safety. I highly recommend Greenbriar Driving Academy and gladly give them a 5 STAR rating.

My son Zac expressed to me how much he enjoyed his time surrounded by kids his age and said that the instructors turned classroom content into an engaging and fun experience. Greenbriar Driving Academy met and exceeded my expectations. So kind and considerate, knowledgeable and patient. I had put off driving since I didn’t really need it in DC and NYC, but as lovely as Winston Salem is there is no really good “mass transit” for many of us. The instructors - especially Tim - were great, explaining and demonstrating when I didn’t understand the concepts. I have a much greater respect for seasoned drivers now. Got my license after my first attempt!

I also appreciated that they use different instructors, which keeps the experience from feeling monotonous and gives students a well-rounded perspective. Nathan truly goes above and beyond—he even teaches practical skills like how to change a flat tire and check the car’s fluids, which is invaluable for new drivers. The in-car driving sessions were scheduled in a very timely manner, and the instructor provided excellent, practical driving tips that built confidence behind the wheel.
